The apartment was quiet from the entrance to the hallway where the bedrooms were located. The twins' room was quiet and had muffled sounds of calming sounds to keep them asleep while Felix's room was filled with the sounds from his TV. He sat against his headboard with a small knitted blanket wrapped around him. The movie was pretty boring, but he didn't want to fall asleep yet; his brain kept him awake.

He let out a sigh and rubbed his eyes. "That couldn't have been him," He mumbles as he looks through the window to the lit city. His eyebrows furrowed and he looked back towards the movie as he heard some type of explosion somewhere in the city. He grabbed his remote and changed the channel to see if anything was on the news, or if it was teenagers being teenagers.

As he switched to the channel, live video footage of a fight popped onto the screen. There was a group of 7 people, with police making a border around the fight to contain it. Felix shifted forward and his eyes grew wide as the camera zoomed in on each of their faces and every one of them caused tears to prick into his waterline.

He covered his mouth to keep himself from making any noises to wake the kids. None of them changed much, each having some type of scar on their body or face. He couldn't think of anything or speak to himself as he was in shock. The others, who he had been with, were now protecting the city that they were taught to destroy and take over. They were working alongside the people who were once the enemy but were turned to friends and it seemed like more than that now.

Felix couldn't watch it anymore so he grabbed the remote and shut the TV off, placing the electronic device down as he moved to lay down, covering his head with his blanket. "I'll forget about this tomorrow," He mumbles as he squeezed his eyes shut, "just go to bed."

Michi and Ryu waved excitedly to their papa who waved back. They walked inside the daycare and disappeared from Felix's view. He gave a sigh and walked back to where he had parked his car. He had barely gotten any sleep and he was surprised his kids hadn't noticed yet, but he had to pretend he had a lot of energy so he could seem alive at work.

Yes, he got the job.

Felix seemed to have zoned out as when he came back to reality, he noticed he was pulling into a cafe parking lot. He smiled and parked in a spot that was close to the door. He put it in park and turned off the engine. He unbuckled and grabbed his wallet and phone before getting out, tucking his phone into his back pocket as he walked to the door. He entered the cafe and walked over to be in line, staring at the menu to see what he wanted.

He got to the front of the line and gave a soft smile to the teenager who was working. Her eyes went wide and her mouth dropped for a few seconds before she snapped back to reality. "H-Hi, what can I get you this morning?" She asks and Felix's order rolled off his tongue with ease. Felix paid the amount he needed before he walked off to a small table to wait. A few moments passed and his name was called.

He walked over and grabbed his drink, giving a smile towards the barista before walking off to head to work. He took a small sip and his eyes widened, slowing his walking pace when three familiar people walked up to the door. The group of three got closer to the door and the one in front, a platinum blonde, grabbed the door handle and opened the two, him and Felix locking eyes.

The blonde froze in place as his eyes widened and were practically popping out of his face. "Chan, get your ass in the..." The one behind stopped his sentence as they locked eyes with Felix. Felix gulped and gave an awkward smile. "E-Excuse me," He said and quickly slipped past the three, his free hand brushing against the last person's hand.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck."
