"Look at this! A family lunch!"

Everyone looked at each other and then at Chan who sat down. "Anyway, how has y'all's week been since it's been so quiet," Chan questions and conversations instantly sparked between everyone besides Changbin who was busy messaging a certain someone.

Jisung, who was beside the male, kept attempting to read the messages but was failing since Changbin kept moving the phone to be on the other side of him or he swiped out of the conversation and glared at the quokka human. Eventually, Jisung got tired of it and looked at his boyfriend who looked back. "What?" He asks and Jisung eyed Changbin for a split second which earned a glared from the mind-controller. "That's your battle, honey, I'm trying to enjoy my lunch," Minho said and shoved a few pieces of food into his mouth to not talk.

Jisung looked at Changbin who locked eyes with him. "Are you talking to Felix?" He asks and it seemed loud enough that the table heard. Chan looked at the two and Changbin looked at everyone. "You have Felix's number?" Hyun jin asks as his mouth dropped and Changbin knew arguing wasn't going to work so he sighed. "Yeah," He answered and everyone looked at each other while Minho and Seungmin eyed each other. "How?" Jeongin asks as he got excited about seeing the blonde again. "I've been...meeting with him to talk about things like where he's been and such," Changbin explained and glanced at his phone that showed a message from Felix.

Everyone looked at each other with wide eyes. "Do you know why he left or where he lived?" Chan asks and Changbin lips went into a thin line at everyone's sudden interest. "Um...I don't think I should tell you guys, it's not my stuff to tell," Changbin explained and he also caught Jeongin's eyes out of the corner of his eyes. He was glaring at Chan who seemed to zone out after hearing the news of the missing male. Changbin didn't want to face the wrath of Jeongin so he forced everyone to go back to eating and not ask anymore questions; not bothering to do it to Jeongin since he was already eating his food again.

Lunch finished in a normal speed and everyone was assigned a task; Changbin cleaned most of the dishes which he couldn't bother complaining about anymore. He finished after a couple of long minutes and he grabbed his phone to reply back to Felix. He heard a low rumble of thunder and he glanced towards the living area; spotting Minho and Seungmin having a quiet conversation while everyone else was off in their own world do keep themselves occupied. Through the morning, he'd noticed the darkening sky but he took it as it was getting cloudy; it seemed it was the opposite.

Changbin looked back at his phone when it started vibrating and he saw Felix's contact name pop up. He answered the call and Felix spoke first. "I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but do you mind coming over? I'm having to deal with crying toddlers because of the storm and I want to distract them with something," Felix said and Changbin smiled. "Yeah, send me your address and I'll be there."

Changbin carefully pulled in next to what looked like Felix's car and he turned off the engine. He unbuckled and grabbed his phone, along with another object, checking the apartment number before quickly getting out and running to get under the roof. He sighs and checks to make sure he didn't get too wet and the thing he was holding; both were fine.

He checked his phone and walked towards the elevator; pressing the button to call the mechanical object. His slipped his phone into his jean pocket while his keys made their way to his jacket pocket; his eyes trailing to the object he was holding. He was hoping Felix wasn't going to get mad at him for it saying how they haven't had many conversations, but he wanted to ease the adult's stress.

The elevator dinged which caught his attention. He looked up and the doors opened, showcasing a young woman who seemed busy on her phone. Changbin slowly moved in and the woman exited the elevator, glancing into the vertical transport and froze. Changbin paid no attention to the woman as the doors closed as he pressed the floor level Felix was on.

As the door closed, the elevator started moving and Changbin leaned against the railing with a sigh. His eyes moved to the red digits and watched them increase to the number that was needed; his ears hearing all the thunder and pounding rain. He pushed off of the railing as a ding echoed through the metal box; the doors opening a few seconds later. He exited the box and slowly looked down the row of doors before he made his way towards the number of Felix's.

He made it to the door and exhaled, finding it weird that his heart was pounding against his chest. He raised his hand and formed it into a fist; giving three knocks before his arm fell next to him; the hand that was holding the special object moving behind his back. It took a few seconds before the sound of locks clicking was heard. The door knob turned and it opened to show Felix with a relaxed expression and a happy smile on his face. "Thank you, I know this is weird," Felix said and Changbin shook his head with a smile. "It's fine," Changbin said and the two fell into a comfortable silence as they stared at each other.

Changbin was the first to break it. "I um...I hope you don't find this weird, but..." Changbin trailed off as he slowly showed the object and Felix's eyes widened as a gentle gasp left his lips. "Flowers?" He said and Changbin gave a nervous smile. "Y-Yeah," Changbin said and relaxed when Felix took them. "Thank you, come in, the twins are in the living room under a blanket," Felix said and walked away from the small entryway.

Changbin entered and closed the doors; locking it and taking his shoes off. He took a few steps in and his eyes scanned the area before they landed on the living room where a small lump on the couch was seen. He glanced over to the right to see Felix finding something to put the flowers in and he smiled. Changbin looked over to the living room and walked over to where the twins were located in; getting in front of them and squatting down. "Hey, boys."

One of the twins, Ryu most likely, lifted the blanket and Changbin frowned at the tear stained cheeks. "Mr. Binnie?" Ryu said and once he finished his sentence, Michi threw the blanket back and attempted to hug Changbin who quickly grabbed him before he could fall into him. "Hi," Changbin said and looked at Felix who smiles; placing the flowers on the dining table. "I didn't think you'd like them," Changbin said as Felix walked over. "Please, they're flowers," Felix said with an eye roll, "I don't get flowers."

Changbin frowned but smiled when Felix patted his arm. "It's fine, don't get upset," Felix said and sat on the couch; pulling Ryu into his lap and wrapped him into a burrito. Changbin sat next to the male and Michi snuggled into him. "Does someone have a favorite?" Felix said and Michi slowly looked at his papa who pretended to have a hurt look. "No! I mean...yes...but no!" Michi said and looked towards the wall as he attempted to figure out if he liked the male he was cuddling. "Wow, giving your kid a mental breakdown," Changbin said and Felix snorted. "It's easy to distract him, I know I'm Ryu's favorite," Felix said and the toddler nodded in agreement and melted into the comfort of the blanket he was swaddled in.

Changbin chuckled and watched Felix easily distract the boy he was holding. Michi seemed to not need much distracting as he was contemplating who his true favorite was. "How's your day been?" Felix asks and Changbin looks at him, seeing Ryu was asleep. "It's been a day," Changbin said and Felix hummed in agreement. "How's your week been?" Changbin asks and Felix shrugged. "The normal," Felix answered and gave a sigh, turning to have his back rested against the arm of the couch. "How about yours, Mr. Superhero?" Felix asks and snickers at Changbin's reaction. "Quiet, normally we have a lot of calls, but we haven't recently," Changbin answers and Felix smiles. "More time with me," Felix said and Changbin looked at him with a smile and Felix smiled back. "You can stay for however long you want, I don't mind," Felix said and Changbin nodded in response.
