Chapter - 03

Austin's POV

We sat in the living room after having breakfast. Grandpa said that he wants to show me something. So here I am, sitting in front of grandpa. He is having some pictures in his hands.

" Here son, I'm sure you want to see how she looks. " He said giving me a picture.

There is a girl in the photo. She have long hairs with shades of black and brown. Her eyes are a mixture of black, brown and golden. Her smile looks geniune and beautiful. She is beutiful.

" What's her name, again?? " I asked grandpa, still looking at the picture. I don't know why but i don't wanna move my eyes from her face.

" Amber. " Grandpa chuckled and replied to my question.

" Show me also " Grandma said taking the picture from my hands. That's when i came out of the daze .

" She's beautiful, isn't she? " Grandma asked.

" Yeah " Nothing came out of my mouth other than this.

Grandpa was smiling while looking at her picture again with adoration and love.

" Ok, so now go and pack your bags. We are going to India tonight. Our flight is on 6. " Grandpa said.

" Ok, I'm going to office now. " I said with no emotion.

" Now, before you go listen to me young man. " Grandpa said but this time in a serious manner which means he is gonna say something serious.

" Yes ? " I asked

" She don't know anything about this arrangement. So, you better not say a word in front of her. She will come to know when her grandmother wants. " He said.

" Why doesn't she know? " I asked in curiosity.

" Because her family loves her a lot and don't want her to feel like she is pressurised. " He said.

" Oh! Ok, alright , I won't say anything. " I said in a cold tone 'cause well,.. why not ;)

( But i want everyone to know that she is mine so that no one dares to come near her but me ) I so badly wanted to say this but also didn't want to sound rude or anything , possessive ,maybe .

" Hmm, you can go now. "Grandpa said while smiling at me.

" Ok then, See you guys later! " Saying this, i came out of the house and moved towards my car.
I reached my company in fifteen minutes. Inside my office was standing my best friend aka Luke.

" Hey, man . I see you are fit and fine. Did you even go to meet grandpa?? "
He asked me checking me out . Most probably for any broken bones.

" Haha, very funny. I did go to meet grandpa and came back fit and fine. He loves me more than you so he didn't kill me but I'm sure if you would've gone, you must have came back in a wheel chair. " I said in a playfull tone.

" Yeah, yeah, whatever. " He mumbled.

" So what did he say to you?? Going or not? " He asked now a little seriously.

"Yeah, we are going. " I said as i thought of her again.

" Oh, i knew that you would never deny grandpa " He said to me.

" Yeah. "I said still thinking about her eyes. Those eyes seem to have caught my attention. I'm not able think about anything but her eyes.

" Hey, down to earth, Aus " I snapped out of my thoughts as he moved his fingers in front of me.

" What!? " I snapped at him.

" What happened?? You were not even listening to me!! " He said ,confused .

" Oh ,nothing." I said.

" Alright, you have a meeting in 15 minutes. " He said

Fast forward ➡ At the airport

( Hope you'll know that its going to be a private jet 'couse why not.... He is a mafia man after all 😏 )
