Chapter - 13

After 4 months

Austin's POV

It's been four months since we came back from India. These months have been the hardest months of my life. I haven't seen Amber in these months and i miss her like crazy.

Today, my Amber is finally coming to America. These four months without her were like hell. And because of all the mafia shit, I have not been able to call her.

She will be working in my company as my assistant's assistant. I am really looking forward to this.

She have always wanted to work in my company but since she came to know about our engagement, she wanted to work under Luke because she doesn't want to face me. But my grandparents and her grandma made her understand. Luke also lied for me that his company hire only the experienced one.

I am in my office right now when Luke suddenly comes in.

"Hello bro", he say.

"What are you doing here ?", I ask him.

" Don't tell me forgot bro. Amber is coming today and we have to go to the airport to pick her up since Taran had some emergency meeting in Italy. She might already be here so let's go. Hurry up man! " He says hurriedly.

"I forgot about the timing, but Taran is not like that. Whatever happens, he will not just leave Amber like that. ", I say confusingly.

"I am not an idiot. I know that you are the one who created that problem for him in Italy so that you can see her as soon as possible. ", he replied sassily while I just smirk at him.

I know that Taran will not let Amber come near me so i did what i had to do to send him away for a few days. Now, i can spend a fews days alone with her without her brother hovering on our heads.

"Ok. Now let's go and receive her from the airport. Her flight have already landed.", Luke says exiting the room and I go down with him.

"I don't understand why she didn't use their private plane. It would be easy for both of us then. ", I say to Luke.

"She wanted a new experience. "he replies.

"Hmm", I say while moving towards my Range Rover and drive for the airport.

When I arrive at the parking of the airport, I park my car and call Amber.
I can't take risk of people seeing me with her. If they click the pictures, everyone will see it in no time and she might become the target of my enemies. I can't take that risk. After ringing three times, she finally picks the call and speak in her angelic voice.

"Hanji ,hello.", she says. (Yes)

"Come to the parking lot. There will be a Range Rover in black colour with a number plate number xxxxxx."I said .

"And come fast ", I speak again without giving her chance to speak and disconnect the call.

After 10 minutes, there's a knock on the window of the car. I look up and see my angel standing there with a confused and angry look. I get out of the car after covering face properly and stand in front of her.

" Hello, Amber ", I say.

"Why did you came? Taran said that Luke will come to pick me up. And how can you talk so rudely with someone?! ", she ask without taking break.

"Is this a way of wishing someone, sweetheart?", I ask her.

" Yes. A special treatment for special people, if you know what i mean. ", she says with confidence.
