Chapter - 11

Amber's POV

I woke up excitedly for today's function. After taking shower, I got ready in my outfit for mayian (haldi function) .

I moved downstairs. Everyone was getting ready for the function. I moved towards the dinning table where breakfast was ready. Only Ekam and Luke were present there.

"Good morning" , I said to them and sat beside Ekam, who was eating his breakfast as if he had not been given any food for months.

"Good morning Amber. You are looking beautiful." Luke said.

"Thank you " I replied cheerfully to him.

"Huh, beautiful? Bandari lagn di aa" Ekam said.
(She looks like a monkey)

"Adi shakal dekhi kadi, bandar ja." I said to him.
(Have you ever seen your face? just like a monkey.)

"Chudail", he said.
(Witch)

"Kutta", I said.
(Dog)

"Bass karo, dono jane", Our grandma said as she came toward us .
(Stop it both of you)

One by one, everyone came. And at last came my soon to be husband.
He looks so dashing, handsome and sexy. Where the hell did this come from!!?

His eyes connected with mine but i immediately lookes away. I don't know why but i suddenly feel so nervous remembering the kiss from last night. I have never felt like this before.

He sat on the seat across me. I didn't dare look in his eyes. Actually, i kept my eyes trained on my plate.

"OMG!!! Look at our granddaughter-in-law, looking so beautiful.", American grandma gushed happily.

I really wanted to bang my head on the table. This is super embarrassing. Everyone was smiling towards me. And that sexy soon to be husband of mine was also looking at me with some look which I couldn't identify. But at this movement I really want to cry.

"Austin is lucky to have her as a wife", Luke said.

My cheeks were getting heated with the speed of bullet. Thank god, my cheeks are always red. And for the very first time in my life, I'm glad to have cheeks like this.
