Everyone was shocked as no one was expecting this .

"So.....?", her mother said questioningly.

"So, their engagement will be day after ranveer's wedding.", her grandma said.

"What the hell!! Have you asked Amber about this marriage?", Taran asked angrily.

"No. But i will tell her. And I'm sure she will agree after knowing that it's her grandfather's wish. ", his grandma said.

"Huh, so simply blackmailing on the name of grandpa?", he asked

"It is not blackmailing Taran. And we know that Austin is better than anyone else for Ambrer. ", Amber's father said.

"But how will she handle the marriage and responsibilities. She can't even handle her own problems. ", he said irritately .

" Have you ever give responsibility to her or let her solve her problems by her own, tell me? " her grandma asked.

He didn't response to this and kept silent clenching his jaw.

"No, right? You have never given har a chance to be responsible for anything. Then how do you know if she can handle the responsibilities or not. ", her grandma said.

"I know. But you can't do this. " He said.

But why isn't Ranveer saying anything. He knows about the mafia than why?

"Calm down child, Austin will take care of her. You don't have to worry about her safety. We all love her like our daughter. ", my mother said to him sweetly.

"Yes Taran. Austin will take good care of her, otherwise I will beat him for hurting her or if he didn't take care of her properly", Luke said to make him understand and cheer him up.

"Yeah, I also think it is best for Amber. Many people will want to marry her because of her property. ", Taran's father said.

"Okh but if amber said no then this marriage is not going to happen", Taran said and came towards me

"If you ever hurt her, I will seriously kill you", he said or more like warned me . It's my first time to see him like this, in business also he is cold but never loose the cool.

"Don't worry man, I will take care of her properly", I said assuring him.

"Ohk, you all can go and do your work and make arrangements for engagement also", Amber's grandma said.

Everyone left except me, Luke, grandpa, her grandma and Ranveer. When grandpa made a move to go towards the door , Ranveer stopped him .

"Stop", he said and we turned toward him.

"Grandma, you do know about their business, right? How can grandpa agree to this even after knowing about it?? ", he asked angrily .

I know you own the most powerful mafia. But how can you be so sure than Amber will not get hurt. People will target her to get to you. You know her for less than a week. How can I trust you that you will cause no harm to her?? ", he asked me angrily.

"Bro chill, we will not let anyone harm her ", luke said.

"Okay, he will protect her. Fine. But what about love , he is only of having one night stands and use girls for his pleasure. I don't want that for Amber. "he said angrily to Luke .

Amber's grandma was going to say something but before she could say anything i spoke.

"Yeah I don't know anything about love. I can be cold to everyone or whatever you thinking, but I never let anyone harm my loved one and family. So, you can trust me with Amber knowing that she is going to be my wife and I will never let anyone harm her. And maybe there will be a time when i will say that i love her. She is not that difficult to love." I said to him.
