Chapter - 16

Third person POV

Amber came downstairs after getting ready. Everyone was already there except Austin.

"Let's go" Amber said.

"But Austin said he will go with you all. Where is he ? " his mother asked.

" He said that he will come after sometime" Cole replied.

"Ok then, you all should go now." his mother said.

All three of them settled in one car and Cole started driving.

"Hey guys, i need to do some shopping because i have got nothing other than two dresses. Can we please go to a mall first ? " Amber asked carrying a sad expression on her face.

Both the siblings laughed as they thought about her ego that would not let her carry her bags herself.

"Sure, let's go to shopping first." Cole chuckled and started driving to the mall.

They reached the mall in fifteen minutes and directly went to the shops to try out dresses.

Amber tried various outfits and ended up choosing atleast ten dresses. After finalising, they went to pay.

"It would be 7000 dollars, mam." the cashier said and Amber gave her card to pay.

"Sorry mam, but there is not enough amount." she said with a sorry face.

"What? That can't be possible. You must have been mistaken." Amber replied hurriedly.

"Sorry mam. I have already checked, there is not enough amount." the cashier said.

"How can this happen?" Amber mumbled. "Can you please wait? Let me just check out the issue." she asked.

"Of course mam, take your time." She replied politely

"Amber, if your card is not working, you can use my card. I don't have any problem with that. " Rossie said.

"No, it's alright. I will take care of it. But thank you." Amber replied with a smile.

Amber takes her phone out of her pocket and calls her grandma. She picks the call after two rings.

"Hello" grandma answered the call.

"Hello, dadii yarr mera card kyu nhi kam kar reha. They are saying that there is not enough amount in the card." Amber asked frustratingly.

(Hello grandma, why is my card not working?)

"Well, that's because you have to earn by yourself and learn to spend the money properly. And also, your cards will be handled by Austin now, not me. " grandma replied.

"Ok, i get it. I don't have any problem in earning for myself and all that. But how can you let Austin handle my cards?! Why would you do that?!! " Amber asked angrily.
