I once again, stood between Aphmau and Travis. I had my arms crossed and put all my weight on the leg closest to Travis.

Aphmau sighed once I finished my sentence from before. "I don't see why we have to attend an assembly right now. It's almost time to go home." She said as I started rotating my upper body to crack my back in a satisfying way after the long, dragging day I had.

"The teacher said the principal wanted to have a few words with the students to congratulate them on a successful first week." Travis explained as I both heard and felt the satisfying crunches coming from my spine.

"Couldn't he just do that by letting us go home early or something?" I asked, anxious for the school day to be over with so I could go home and relax.

"Meh, that would be too easy obviously." Travis shrugged with a playful smile as he nudged me with his elbow and I did the same in return. It earned a short laugh from Aphmau and a chuckle from me.

"So," He continued. "You never did tell me why you guys weren't in gym class." He paused and took a small step closer to us. "Did... something happen?" Travis asked and I sighed, rolling my neck as I slowly leaned back into Aphmau.

She caught me and held me against her steadily. "Um... We... Got really sick... Suddenly..." She nervously chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Are you sure?" He asked. "Both of you at the same time?"

I sighed dramatically. "We shared a drink and got some really mild case of food poisoning." I lied and slowly stood up, stretching my restless body more.

"Why would we lie about that?!" Aphmau pressed while I pulled my arm across my body.

"Uh- You know you didn't have to be so angry-" He gasped and straightened his back. "Ohhhh, I get it. S-Sorry, that's girls' stuff, gah-"

"W-What?! No, Not! Travis- uhhh-"

I shook my head calmly and chuckled. "I'm not due for another week."

His expression fell into a more neutral one. "Oh. Then why-"

Aphmau sighed. "Just forget it."

Travis nodded hesitantly. "Well, look, whatever happened, just let me know if I can help next time, okay?"

Aphmau giggled nervously. "Sure."

"Whatever." I shrugged and stretched out my legs. "Thanks Travis."

"And uh, Lauren?" Travis started and I looked up.

"What's up?"

"Why do you keep moving around?" He asked, seeming slightly concerned.

"Werewolf. Possible undiagnosed ADHD. Sitting all day. Restless." I explained briefly and they both gave quiet 'oh's as I stood up.

"Lauren!" I heard from behind me and smacked a hand over my mouth. "Where the hell is my book?!" He asked as I slowly turned around.

"Hm?" I mused as I looked up into his eye. "I don't know what you're talking about." I smirked and dropped my hand to my side.

"Yes you do! You took it when I wasn't looking, I swear to Irene!" Zane shot back as I smirked up at him.

"You told me to leave you alone and I did. Nothing else happened." I grinned.

I walked up to Zane's desk as Aphmau started mumbling to herself about her online friend while texting on her phone.

"Hello edge lord~" I sang like I had the other day and placed my elbows on his desk, leaning forward a bit.
