(Gavin)

Standing still, my body is frozen in place as he pulls out a knife. My life is no longer in my hands but in Jordan's and I don't want to imagine what he has planned. He killed Vivian, my half-sister I never met, he killed Cole's cousin, and something tells me he's killed more people I don't know about.

Jordan is a killer who will do anything he has to get his way regardless if it means killing Jared's only other sibling he has left, me. "You have to admit you didn't really think you were going to get away, did you?" he asks, the knife touching my face. He glides it down my cheek pushing in harder as he goes until I feel a burning sensation. Blood begins to trickle down until he suddenly comes to a halt. "You're just another person I have to get rid of Gavin. Don't worry I won't make it as painful as I did Vivian. You should have seen all the blood from that night. So much I thought it wasn't going to stop but eventually, it did, and she was dead. Just laying there while Jayden was passed out, and I knew I would be all he cared about in his life with her gone once and for all."

I open my mouth to say something, anything but instead I'm pushed to the ground. Kicked in the stomach before I hit the hardwood floor beneath me. Every part of me wants to do something, stand up to the person that has torn my family apart, but I don't. I can't. I'm useless as I lay in agony wondering if this is the end.

"Get up." He instructs me waiting for me to do as he says.

"Why?" I choke back wondering what getting up will lead to besides more pain.

My face is met with his boot, "I said get up now, didn't I?"

Pain radiates across my face from the blow, the taste of blood overwhelming me. "Why are you doing this? You already hurt my family enough." I manage to say, tears building up,

He laughs, "I'm doing whatever I have to protect my family. See I'm trying to create a life with Jayden but you and everyone else can't let things go. Everyone has to get in the way."

"Jayden won't want to be with you when he finds out what you've done." From my last conversation Jordan interrupted with him I think he was beginning to see something was wrong. He has to know how can he not?

"Who said he's going to find out?" he retorts. "You won't be alive to visit him anymore."

Just then my phone vibrates, and I know it's Cole. He dropped me off and is probably wondering how it went talking to my dad, but that never happened. "Who knows you're here?" he asks a hint of surprise washing over him.

"A friend." I spit out along with blood. "Someone who knows everything I know."

"Oh, is that so?" he retorts with his signature smile returning, "But who would believe him when you just come from a crazy family remember? See your dad finally snapped and decided to take it out on you."

"What?" What is he talking about? What does he plan on doing? "Where's my dad? What did you do to him?"

"Don't look so surprised Gavin. I haven't killed him yet. Don't get me wrong I would have but he wasn't here. You are and that makes this more interesting to watch play out."

"You don't have to do this." I plead.

"But I do, I want to." he retorts.

"You're sick." I say.

"I never denied I was." he laughs. "Now I'm just getting started."

(Jonhathan)

I've written plenty of letters throughout the years. Almost to the point, I was begging Jayden to let me visit him. Needing to see him so he knows I'm here for him. I should have been there for him from the beginning because I wanted to believe he could never hurt Vivian.
