Every day
Then wonder why
We feel so sick
All the fucking time.
We drink poison
Our eyes hurt
Necks cramp
And still we ignore
Still we smile
Those Colgate smiles.
We drink poison
Sometimes early
In the morning
And usually late
At night.
We drink it in
Drooling for it
Taking it in
Big gulps.
We drink it in
Until our blood is more poison
Than water
We drink it in
Until we are more them
Than us.
We drink it in
Until there is no looking
Back
Until we are convinced
Fully
That this is normal.
We drink poison
Until the poison
No longer feels
Like poison.
