You regret coming to Neverland and make sure Peter Pan shares in your misery.

I got lazy with the ending. No regrets.

The jungle of Neverland was like most jungles. Hot, humid, and bug-filled. It also has a lot of poisonous plants and dangerous wildlife in general. Despite the rest of the group, who seemed relatively unaffected by the heat and bugs and danger, you were sweating and complaining.

"Why the fuck does it have to be so fucking hot!" You said.

Snow looked at you. "Language," she said.

"English."

She glared.

"Would you rather I say it in Spanish?" you asked. "Cause I can."

Killian chuckled, pleased with how you held yourself above water, even under the glaring eyes of the Charmings.

"You have something you'd like to say, Pirate?" David asked, crossing his arms.

Killian shrugged. "Just that Y/N is impressive. I feel bad for anyone who pisses them off."

You smirked. He wasn't like the Charmings or your brother's mum, Emma, or even your mum, Regina. He wasn't a hero or trying to help anyone besides himself. Even if his reasoning to come back to Neverland was to get into Emma's trousers. He was a pirate through and through and he was honest about that.

Emma and her parents scowled disapprovingly at him, the signature Charming look at "villains redeemed".

Your mum and Rumplestilskin had gone off to do their own thing, leaving you with the increasingly annoying and goody-goody Charmings, oh, and the pirate.

"I'm bored and hot and miserable," you said, standing. "I'm going to go find something to do."

"Maybe you shouldn't," Emma said. "It's dangerous out here."

You glared at her. "And?"

You grabbed your bag and walked away from the camp.

You hadn't even meant to come on this "trip". But, stupid as you were, you were sitting in the Jolly Roger's bird's nest, drawing, when there was a ton of commotion down below as people piled into the boat. Not caring all that much, you went back to drawing. Next thing you know, you're on the water, being sucked into a whirlpool and travelling to Neverland.

Heroes suck.

Navigating through the forest, memorizing every inch you could, you found yourself near water.

You slipped off your bag and took off the bandana around your wrist, dunking it in the cool stream. The soaked cloth cooled your skin once you placed it on the back of your neck. Thinking back to an old farmers trick, you dunked your arms into the water, up to your elbows. Water droplets fell to the ground as you leaned back, sighing at the relief from the heat.

"Don't you look content," A voice said. It sounded distinctly non-American.

You rolled your eyes beneath closed lids.

"What's your name, love?"

You flipped the prick off, not caring to see who it was.

"Oh, now that's rude. What would your mother say about that?"
