A/N: I would die for gay/bi!Finn Shelby. I'd like to die in general but that's beside the point. It's just, ya know, a massive amount of sickening fluff.
Clouds were a typical occurrence in Small Heath, so it was odd that today the sun was shining bright. Finn smiled as he looked out the window. He snatched his coat up and made his way to the door.
"Oi, where ya goin'?" Aunt Polly asked.
Finn kept heading for the door. "Library, Y/N said that he'd read more of the Odyssey to me today." He turned to his aunt as he opened the door. "We're getting to the good part." He left quickly, his coat on his arm.
"Be back by 4!" She shouted after him.
As he made his way to the Small Heath Library he thought back to when the Shelby's had first learned of the place. They had been shocked and slightly confused. Both John and Finn had to be explained what a library was.
Finn had fallen in love with the place, the musty smell and the quiet atmosphere. It made him feel safe. Plus, Y/N was almost always there and was remarkably good at telling stories, making it even more worth it to go. Most of the Shelbys didn't even go to the library if it wasn't to retrieve him or Y/N from the nest of books.

Finn opened the doors and stepped in. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he basked in the warmth of the sunlight and the smell of old books and wood. The light chatter in the random corners of the library and the rolling of the book carts could be heard from where he stood.
Miss Periwinkle, a 34-year-old librarian who had been working here for years, smiled at him from behind the front desk. He made his way over.
The red-head greeted him. "Hello, Finn."
"Afternoon, Miss P. Is Y/N here?"
"When isn't he?" Miss P joked. She pointed with her thumb, "He's in The Nest."
Y/N had made a nest in a far off part of the library that most didn't know about. It was perfect for the bookworm. Sometimes he wouldn't use it so Finn and Miss P would have to guess where he was. That usually leads to a wild goose chase around the library.
"Thanks, Miss P," Finn said before running off.
He quickly found Y/N reading a dark blue book, laying down with his head propped up. Another lay on his lap with The Odyssey written in bold. Finn chuckled at the sight of the boy absorbed with his fiction.
Y/N had a deep scar on his right cheek that accentuated his cheekbones. He had gotten it when a gaggle of boys had attacked him. One of them smashing his head onto a piece of metal that had been sticking out. Finn loved tracing it when it was just the two of them. Though it was a painful reminder of that day, it was also a reminder of the day they met.
Finn took off his coat and set it down before taking The Odyssey off Y/N's lap and laying down on top of him. Y/N groaned in playful annoyance. Finn nestled into his neck, breathing in his scent.
"Oh, shut up, you know you love me and you know you love it when I do this."
Y/N chuckled slightly. "True." His voice was filled with love and adoration.
It was a joke between the two, to both boys' dismay. Neither could find the courage to actually tell the other how they felt. Instead, they danced around each other and joked about how they felt. Like a never-ending game of chicken.
Y/N dog-eared his blue book and set it down, tucking it underneath him. Picking the other book from Finn's hand, Y/N opened it and looked for the page they left off on.
