A/N: The internet wouldn't let me do anything earlier so now you get this late. Don't like it? Don't care. Gotta be honest, I didn't really like the movie but I did love the premise of it, so I'm still gonna write some imagines. Why? Because I can.
CW:
Nothing to warn you about except maybe a knife.

Twirling your knife, you relaxed against the boat's edge and stared up, watching the birds fly by.

Jake and his dad were talking about something or another, not that you bothered to listen. When it came to wildlife, you'd rather have a wild life.

Realizing you were out of it, Jake nudged your leg.

"What's going on in that head of yours?" He asked.

You rolled your eyes. "Nothing, usually."

"Is today not usual?"

Straightening to look at your friend, you said, "We literally could have just googled the place. We didn't need to take a fucking trip." You pointed with your knife at where you almost were, the village called Cairnholm.

Jake shrugged. "Probably."

You sighed heavily and went back to staring at the sky.

Staring at the broken home, you scowled.

"I knew we should have googled the place," you said.

Jake rolled his eyes and started walking toward it. "Come on. Let's check it out."

"Why do you always make bad decisions?"

He turned around and narrowed his eyes. "It's just a house, Y/N. Or are you afraid?"

"It's old, dumbass. It could cave in at any moment," you said, pointing at the charred building. "If you want to die? Be my guest, but I don't so I'm leaving."

Jake scoffed and headed toward it. But, you stuck to what you said and left. Soon after realizing you actually weren't coming, Jake went and ran after you.

"Y/N, wait up!"

"And I thought I was supposed to be afraid."

"I just wanted to make sure you didn't get hurt or anything."

"Uh-huh."
