A/N: Just Damon crushing and Bonnie being done with his stupidity. These do get better with time.
Side note: I am fucking exhausted... Just like, in general, all the time.

Damon had been thinking all day. Shocking, I know. But he had been thinking, thinking about someone in particular. It was annoying him, seeing as he could never have them. Besides, Bonnie would kill him. More likely, starve him, but you get the point.

Sitting on the couch, drinking whiskey, and thinking about someone he can't have. All in a day for Damon Salvatore.

Bonnie walked into the house like she owned the place. She wore a plaid shirt, jeans, and boots. Honestly, I love her, but she looked like a country girl turned failure in the "Big City".

"Hey," Damon said, "What do you want now, Bon-Bon?"

Oh, shit, snarky. He's got to be in a bad mood.

"Nothing, I'm just bored."

Damon laughed. He took a sip of his drink. "Still doesn't tell me what you're doing in my house."

"Caroline is shopping, Matt's busy, Elena and Jeremy are cleaning their house, and who knows where Y/N is. I have nothing better to do and no one better to hang out with." She plopped on the couch across from Damon.

"Then go bother Stefan, you two seem to get along." He got up, finishing and filling his drink.

Bonnie glared at him and rolled her eyes. "Can't, he has been subjected to holding Caroline's things while she shops."

Damon snorted, "Ok, yeah, I feel bad for him now." He sighed, "Do you seriously not have any other friends, besides us?"

"I do, I just don't want to deal with them right now."

Damon paused for a second. "Did you say you don't know where Y/N is?"

"Yeah, they've been disappearing a lot lately." Bonnie said, "Why? You worried about them?" she mocked.

"Pfft, no."

His denial weaved a different story. Bonnie could tell. Damon Salvatore, one of her close friends, was lying to her, again.

She gave him a look and sat up. "Don't make me interrogate you."

"Ugh, fine, maybe I am worried. But it's only because---" He stopped short.

Bonnie stood, inching closer to Damon. "Because of what?"

He sighed. Damon was not one to admit he cared, he preferred his bad-boy attitude. But, he wasn't one to deny the truth, at least not to himself. "Because I think I might like them in a way I probably shouldn't." He looked to Bonnie.

She had a 'are you serious' look that she always gets when he does something stupid or immature. "Please tell me you didn't." He gave her an apologetic look. "Again? Really? I'm going to have no friends that haven't been touched by your fangs at the end of my lifetime."

"I'm sorry! I didn't plan on this!"

"Will you stop falling for my friends! Seriously! This is getting ridiculous."

"I haven't fallen for all of them!" Damon said, "Just two."

She gave that 'are you an idiot' look at Damon again. "Yes, two of my best friends."

"I already said I was sorry, what more do you want from me?"

Bonnie was frustrated and angry. But also happy that Damon reciprocated Y/N's feelings, as hidden as those feelings may be to an outsider or Damon. "Are you going to tell them?"

Damon was quiet. "I, I don't know," he sat down. "Maybe."

Bonnie sat beside him. She gently placed a hand on his shoulder, "You should. Telling them would be easier than keeping it in. And if you're afraid of them not liking you back, it's better to know, then to live the rest of eternity wondering."

Take her advice, it'll save everyone a lot of trouble.

"Maybe. I guess the only way to find out is to ask..."

"First smart thing you've said all day."

"Hey!"
