*One week later*

On the day of Sukairā and Kenji's funeral, a ceremony was held. As night approached and Shiroi prepared for sleep, he realized that he hadn't seen Kairī all day. Concerned, he attempted to contact her, but she didn't answer her phone. Suspecting that she might be in danger, Shiroi created five shadow clones to search for her.

Unknown to Shiroi, Kairī had taken off into the forest with important information and Shiroi's DNA, on the orders of Yamoshi. Yamoshi had promised to send guards to help Kairī escape unharmed. As Shiroi's clones frantically searched for Kairī, she ran through the forest in tears, consumed by guilt for betraying Shiroi.

In her haste, Kairī stumbled and fell, only to discover Shiroi standing before her when she looked up. Behind him, the rock she had tripped on had disappeared.

When Shiroi inquired about her recent activities, her heart sank upon hearing his question. Despite feeling helpless, she opted to be truthful with him. She rose from her seat, tears streaming down her face, and begged for his forgiveness. Shiroi was overcome with emotion and demanded an explanation for her actions. She revealed that she had no choice but to do it, as refusing would have resulted in Yamoshi's retaliation. As guards closed in on him, Shiroi's anger flared, and he swiftly deflected their shuriken attacks with his own.

Shiroi was charged by one of the guards, but before the guard could strike, Shiroi cast a genjutsu, incapacitating him. While battling off the remaining guards, Shiroi was suddenly knocked down by a large assailant, who then proceeded to stab him in the chest with a kunai. Despite being in immense pain, Shiroi gritted his teeth and got back up. The large attacker then repeatedly slammed Shiroi against a wall, preventing Kairī from intervening. Eventually, the attacker grabbed Shiroi by the neck, but in a split second, Shiroi proceeded to use a simple gentle fist.

Shiroi surveyed his surroundings and observed that only four men remained. Despite being fatigued from training all day without rest, he picked up a sword and launched back into combat. Shiroi executed a swift kick to one man's face and followed up with a rolling sidekick to another. With impressive agility, he backflipped and landed a powerful blow to the chin of a third guard. Twirling his sword in hand, he skillfully backstabbed another. With just two guards remaining, Shiroi moved in for the attack but unfortunately stumbled, giving his opponent an opening to land a punch. However, Shiroi was quick to retaliate, casting a Genjutsu spell on the guard and swiftly eliminating him with a single stab.

Shiroi's weakened state made it difficult for him to react when he noticed a guard running towards him. The pressure caused his chakra to drain, and his Byaku sharingan began to turn off. Before he could turn around to face the attacker, Kairī leapt in front of him and was fatally stabbed in the heart. Shiroi's heart shattered at the sight of his girlfriend bleeding on the ground, and he screamed out her name in anguish. Despite her injuries, Kairī managed to express her love for Shiroi and apologized for any pain she may have caused him. As she slipped away, the guard prepared to attack Shiroi, who managed to block the sword with his hand and deliver a punch with the other.

As Shiroi gazes upon Kairi's lifeless body lying on the floor, he swiftly picks her up and carries her to a secure location. Despite his attempts to revive her, Kairi remains unresponsive, leaving Shiroi feeling betrayed and wounded. A surge of anger courses through him, while anguish consumes his being. Amidst the downpour of rain, Shiroi clasps Kairi's body and gets her to the hospital.
