CHAPTER SIXTEEN

"HEY RAFE." I greeted walking up to him. "Livie. What have you been up to?"

"Nothing much I hung out with Sarah yesterday." I spoke thinking back to yesterday's adventure.

"Livie I think it would be safer if you stopped hanging around her as much." I give him a confused expression and tilt my head to the side. "Dad's been saying she's acting weird lately hanging around with John B."

"Well I'm not going to stop hanging out with her-" I start only to get cut off.

"Livie I'm not telling you to stop hanging out with her she's my sister I'm just telling you to be careful." He says with a pleading look.

"I'll be fine." I wave him off.

"Liv you just got out of the hospital take it easy alright?"

"I'll be fine Rafe promise." I reassured. "Great. Well since your here can we talk?" He asks. I'm about to reply but someone shows up. "Olivia! How are you doing?" Ward spoke as he joined us.

"I'm fine Mr.Cameron." I can sense Rafe tensing up.

"It's just Ward, Olivia please." He said smiling lightly. I nod.

"Rafe didn't tell me you were headed over here." I see him turn and give Rafe a glare before turning back to me with a small smile. "Yea he didn't know I was coming it was kinda last minute."

"Have you seen Sarah?" Ward asks. I decide to lie for her. "No I haven't not since last night." I give him a small smile to make my lie more believable.

"Well dad me and Liv need to go." Rafe spoke looking down at the ground not daring to meet Wards eyes. "Nonsense Rose is making lunch stay here."

"Actually I had some questions for Rafe about some colleges so we might not have time to stay for lunch but thank you for the invite." I say grabbing and pulling Rafe towards me. "Goodbye Mr.Cameron." I nod waving him off.

"Colleges?" Rafe said once we've walked off.

"I couldn't think of anything else." I explain annoyed.

"Livie, I'm a drop out." He paused laughing slightly before he continued. "I should be the last person you go to for college advice."

"Well it worked didn't it?" I smirk slightly whilst craning my neck to look up at him. "Yea I guess it did." He stands next to me casually putting his arm around my shoulder. "Let's go i'm starving." 

"Your dad invited us to lunch if you were hungry why didn't you say anything?" I ask. "Because, Rose is cooking." That was enough to get me to stop talking.

Rafe sits next to me instead of in front of me. I had been to this restaurant before as Kiara's parents owned it. Before I watch as he sets his arm around the back of my chair.

Rafe places his menu down looking at me. "Liv we still need to talk." Rafe turning to face me. "About what?" I think I had an idea of what he wanted to talk about. "About us."
