"OKAY SO IT'S 12:30 and I have one more thing I wanna show you. Unless you have to go." Rafe spoke looking to me.

"We still have a good hour. Where were you planning on taking me?" I asked standing up. "Some place where you can see the waves up close." He winked at me and I blush a little bit my skin feeling hot at his blatant flirting.

"Let's go, it's not far from here."

We start to walk for a while until we reach a dock. "Wow seems like you've got the whole thing planned out, what's next you gonna propose?" I joke with him.

"Keep bringing it up and I might actually do it. Then again you have to buy me dinner. Stay here." He instructed before he walked off as I watched him pull tarp off to what looks like a boat. "Tada!" He exclaimed very excitedly.

"Wow you bought me a boat and we're not even on the first date? You're such a sweetheart." I said walking up to him. "It's my dads boat and I figured we could cross one of those things off your list." He stated.

I think back to list, which at the time I had forgotten about. "You remembered?" I questioned him.

"Well you showed me it yesterday I'd feel bad if I didn't remember. But I did so here we are."

"We can spend the rest of the afternoon on water." Rafe paused in speaking as he began helping me on the boat. "Who knew Rafe Cameron was a romantic." I joked sitting down.

Rafe had managed to take off his shirt. I had to double take as I started then looked away. "Here." He handed me a shirt I looked at him confused. "So you don't get wet." He offered.

"Thanks." I take the shirt which happens to be double my size. "Problem?" Rafe asked. "No but is this your shirt?" I responded confusingly, won't he get cold?

"Yeah don't worry it's clean I brought an extra."

"Look!"

"Calm down they are just waves." He assures me.

"No I'm talking about how it looks it's really nice you know? Seeing the water this close."

"It is pretty nice." He spoke. He's already docked the boat near the middle." All I could see was the sea. "How come you live in an island and you rarely see the sea?"

"I guess I just don't have time. That's why I made a bucket list to complete the things I've never done and see things I've never seen." I spoke trying to move on from the real reason.

"Like an escape?" He asked. "Essentially."

"I get it my dad's been hauling my ass to get back to college." He spoke lowly looking down at me with a sad smile.

"Are you going back?" I asked him, weirdly I hoped he said no like I wanted him to stay.

"I don't plan on it." He paused before looking at me with a smirk. "Plus you'd miss me to much." He said nudging against me lightly. "But yeah I don't plan on it. It just wasn't for me. What about you?"
