Christmas is tomorrow (don't know whether it's different for others but yea-)

ANYWAYYY, on to it-
ENJOY

You walked into the house you shared with you best friend hawks.
You two had been childhood friends, so living with each other was normal.

For a while now you had a bit of a crush on him, and now it was Christmas of 2021 you thought it would be the perfect time to do it... or maybe not- NO you're doing it!

You bought him half your money's worth of presents, not sure whether he did the same.
He wasn't the type to spend loads, that was until your birthday rolled around, then it was presents galore!

You came home, hawks not home yet, you smiled.
You turned on your Christmas music, placing your bag down, getting into comfortable clothes before running around your house lighting it up with lights, fake snow on the tree- (or real snow if you live in a place with snow- ha not me TwT)

There were baubles on the tree, windows, curtains, oh and on the roof, OH and outside, everywhere!

You did tinsel inside and out, everywhere of course!
You weren't one to go all out but you knew your bird brain LOVEDDD Christmas, but as a kid he didn't get it a lot, so every year you made it even more special.

You went outside and there was Santa and Elf's set up, (fake or real) snow was made into a snowman, and little angels everywhere, and just before he came home you wrote on the door. "Merry Christmas birdie- from your angel!"

He always called you angel around Christmas time.
When December hit, there was no more, baby bird, song bird, humming bird, love bird, birdie, it was only and as he says 'will only ever be-' angel.

You were dancing to the band Wham, and their Christmas song,
'Last Christmas'.

You were dancing and singing as you set up the house with pretty snow and lights and dinner.

He chuckled as he heard you, smiling.
"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart~ then the very next day, you gave it away~"

You twirled right into hawks's arms, him grabbing your hand and twirling you around as he sang.

"This year~ to save me from tears~"

You smiled as he pulled you to his chest, both of you swaying together.

You+Hawks- "I'll give it to someone special~"

You two chuckled, you holding onto his neck as his hands going your waist.

You- "Last Christmas~ I gave you my heart~"
Hawks- "But the very next day~ you gave it away~"
You- "You gave it away~"
You smiled at each other.
Hawks- "This year~"
You- "To save me from tears~"
You two smiled, pulling each other closer.
You + Hawks- "I'll give it to someone special~.... Special~"

You and him laughed softly, before he spun you around, only to pull you to him.

"Merry Christmas to you too angel~"

You smiled, before dragging him to the kitchen.

"I made teriyaki chicken for you!"
He smiled and hugged your waist, nuzzling into your neck.
