Jealous to love pt2

"N/n? You're here for keigo takami right?"

You nodded.
You didn't want to really know what they were going to say but you were also desperate to know.

"Are you related to him? A partner? Spouse? Siblings? An ex? Parent maybe?"
The doctor asked.

Just being a friend wouldnt let you in so you again nodded and hummed
"Yeah I'm his- partner"

You lied. The doctor nodded and opened the door for you to enter.

"He's suffering serve injuries, but thanks to your quick thinking and medical attention, he had enough blood for us to save him"

He said as you entered. You almost immediately dropped to the floor hearing that.

He was alive!

You ran to the side of his bed, tears in your eyes but you realise... he wasn't awake.

"Unfortunately. He is in a coma, medically induced. We think he'll still have his memory when he wakes up. He should be like that for a few weeks. In the meantime, visiting hours are between 6am and 10pm."
He told you and hummed a little.

He then left the room. It was around 6am now. You waited painfully for hours, from 3am to 6am- you waited 3 hours. Not the longest but it was still too long.

You held his hand in yours and put it to your lips. He's in a coma, he wouldn't know.

You leant down so you could place your forehead against your hands.

It was like this for weeks.

You'd leave, lay in bed, wake up, go to keigo, stay there all day, leave at 10pm, cry and go to bed, then do it all over again.

You knew he'd be fine but you couldn't help but feel like he wouldn't be.

You made an announcement to all of your followers and buyers, saying that you'd be out of business for a few weeks because hawks wasn't going to well. Most of them told you take take all the time you needed but others were being an asshole.

You ignored it and just went on with everything.

It had been a month now. You had to get back to work now, you'd been away too long.

You started it today and you went to keigo.

You sat beside keigo and made a few new things while you were there. Everytime you finished a product you put the finished one on keigo.

Once you ran out of product you just held keigo's hand, posting the things online and in your shop before again, kissing keigo's hand and putting it against your cheek, closing your eyes.

You were tired. You couldn't really sleep because you were worried about this bird brain.

But when you did sleep it was always beside him, though you would have to leave after a few hours.

You didnt even notice keigo's thumb brushing your cheek, and the gentle humming coming from him. You just smiled and pushed your cheek into his hand.

"Tired baby bird?"

He asked gently and you nodded, before your head shot up.
"Keigo?!"

You smiled and sat up, crawling over and hugging him.

He groaned a little in pain but hugged you back.

You were on his hips, just hugging him, arms around his neck.

"Don't ever do that again asshole! You scared me!"

You cried into his neck and he chuckled, rubbing your back.
