The news had skyrocketed with people at home, though people on the scene were filming and shouting.

Why you might ask? Because hawks was alone- fighting a nomu.

He called for back-up or at least endeavor but no one had come as of yet.

You weren't too interested. You had a cafe to run and people to serve.

Yes- a cafe. You weren't a hero, villain, you were the own of a successful neko (cat) cafe.

You were decorating a cup of coffee from a very often customer. You had no relation to the couple, they werent your grandparents or anything but they still treated you like you were their grandchild.

You handed the hot coffee to the male and smiled. "There you go pops" you said to him and he chuckled, taking it off of you.

"You're making me feel old" he joked before going to sit with his wife. It was the same booth everytime. It had red leather as padding and on the table there were napkins in the shape of hearts. Made specially for them.

"Hey turn up the tv!" Someone shouted, snapping you from your thoughts and you nodded.

You turned it up as much as you could without annoying anyone, before petting one of the cats on the counter.

They were talking about hawks. You listened carefully while making some food for the elderly couple.

Everyone was soon interested in the battle going on. You weren't as much. Hawks would be fine- he's the number 2 hero for a reason.

"Poor thing. Someone needs to help him" kirei said, she was the wife of the male you had just served, better known as nan.

"I'm sure he'll be fine nan" you reassured her, setting down their food and handing her a cat. She was a major cat lover, they always calmed her down.

"You should help him. You're close and can reach up there, a good fighter too" Haru suggested. He was known better as pops.

You froze when you heard the suggestion. You looked at your own wings. Yes they were powerful, yes you could've made a great hero but you didn't want to be one.

You never thought you would be good enough, and now you had a chance to help a hero and prove you were good enough.

"Don't listen to him darling. But if you do we'll be cheering for you" she smiled taking your hand gently.

They were one of the only people who really supported you no matter what which is why you three were so close.

"I'm just saying- not every hero has to wear a cape you know?" Pops said, a cheeky grin on his face, taking a sip of the now warm coffee you made him.

"Haru don't stress them out! Leave them be-" Kirei began but you stopped her.

"It's fine nan. Can you guys watch over for me? Just for a bit" you asked. You didn't know why or how but you wanted to go help him. Maybe you could do something...

You were a simple barista but for some reason- In this moment you felt like you could do something.

"Don't you worry. I'll look after it!" Haru told you, patting your shoulder, a big smile plastered on his face. Kirei looked at you worriedly though. She still wanted you to go help and do as you pleased but she was just a little worried.

You nodded and you took off your apron. You pushed the glass doors open, the bell going as you did.

You got to the side walk and shot your wings out. You jumped and the force of your wings hitting down, shot you into the sky.
