Youre lucky

I stretched and yawned, my wings spreading wide. I walked up the driveway to the house of my wonderful spouse.

I smiled as I walked up but I noticed something. I look over and saw my new car smashed.
(Literally my worst nightmare. I love cars)

"What the-" I ran to my new car and looked it from back to front.
The windows were smashed, the new paint was scratched off, the leather interior was ruined and cords were pulled out. I practically died inside.

I ran inside, worried something had happened to baby bird but once I reached the door I found a suitcase outside with a couple of my things around it.

I used my key to enter the house and once I entered I saw my baby bird in the kitchen, making coffee/tea/a drink. I walked up the kitchen but once I tried taking a step closer they stopped me.

"Don't even think about it" they said coldly. I was so confused.

"Baby bi-"
"Don't!" They shouted, turning to face me, dried tears staining their cheeks.

My soul left my body seeing them like this, I wanted to cradle them in my arms but they refused me to get any closer.

"What happened?...."

"You know exactly what you did...keigo"

You were awake earlier than keigo this morning. He had been 'working' late again. In fact he'd been doing that a lot lately.

You called up his work, worried for his health but they said he hadn't stayed back to work at all this week, or last week, he finished on time everyday. Yes maybe it was a little paranoid, but you were worried.

Though now you were annoyed, and scared. Why did he lie to you? What if he was seeing someone else?
You pushed these thoughts away for weeks until today. Why? Because he got a call.

You assumed it was work and went to tell them he was sleeping but the second you answered you heard a woman's voice.

She called him baby, though once you spoke they seemed shock.
"Oh I'm sorry. Who's this? Where's keigo?" They asked politely but you didn't follow.

You spoke coldly, staring at keigo's sleeping form with hatred. You knew what was going on now.

"Keigo's my husband... who's this?" You asked and the answer you dreaded was said.

"Oh... I'm his girlfriend.. I didn't know I'm sorry-"

You stormed out of the room and yelled.
"Asshole! That fucking asshole!"

You scared the woman and she kept apologising, though you knew it was coming, you had that feeling for ages.

"It's not your fault. Just don't be surprised if the asshole turns up at yours tonight" is all you said before hanging up and throwing his phone at the couch. Not wanting to break it but wanting to let out your anger.

"Baby bird?" He hummed tiredly, dragging his feet to you, rubbing his eyes.

The anger boiled inside you, but you remained calm.

"Sorry darling. Just- work called" you lied, refusing to face him.

He leant on you and kissed your cheek but you refused to kiss him back or even hug the cheating asshole.
