The flirting between the pair of you had become intolerable for the rest of the team. There was an instant friendship, and attraction, between the God of Mischief and yourself. The two of you had a solid friendship that was filled with excitement, laughter, bad jokes, good jokes -jokes that had Steve give you that disapproving look as he told you of how inappropriate that joke was- and endless amounts of innocent flirting.

To be honest, you loved it! It was so much fun. The fun of yours and Loki's friendship helped balance you, especially after returning from missions where you hadn't slept or ate for days on end, the overwhelming feeling of hating the world as your ears filled with continued ringing from gunfire or shouting, your body achy and bruised from exiling the wicked from the living. You and Loki seemed to naturally ground one another as either of you, or both of you, returned home in these conditions.

Loki seemed to love the excessive flirting as well. Others had mentioned to you that he was much less of an asshole -and murderer- since you and him had become good friends, even if they kept teasing about you secretly being in love with one another. It was just his and your thing. It was cute, and harmless.

The team -especially Thor- found it endearing at the start, but they soon had enough with the continued game. You would only roll your eyes as they would throw comments at you and Loki from across the room such as 'hurry up and kiss", "can you two just end the sexual tension already' or the simple yet classic 'get a room'. You were just two mischievous friends who loved to flirt. That was all.

"Hello Laufeyson. Whatcha doing?". You were lingering under the doorway watching Loki who was sat upon the large sofa, looking rather dissatisfied as he surfed through the channels. Upon hearing your voice, he turned his head toward you, smiling at you, his eyes grew a twinkle. "Hello my darling. I was just thinking of you. Come here".

Sauntering your way over towards the sizable seat, you stood with your hands behind your back and a warm smile over your face. Loki knew you were up to something, or after something. "What is it that you want darling? Have you come to claim me at last? Why don't you take a seat here on your rightful throne?".

Loki gestured to his lap as he smirked his way into a giggle -who'd thought the chaotic God of Mischief would giggle? Well, he did around you- as you rolled your eyes at his flirty attempt. "Actually, there is something I want from you". You lend over him, staring directly into his eyes. You could have sworn you heard his breath hitch as your faces become only inches apart. "I want it".

Loki's pupils dilated as you whispered your words before him. He was tranced -as you had planned- as your hand found it's way to the remote that was sat on the armrest next to his thigh. "Mm. Finally. Tell me what you want, my darling girl? Let me hear you say it for me".

But could you really fool the God of Mischief? Yes, you could. Your hand clasped around the remote, calming it as your own. "Hey!". Loki managed to grab your wrist as you started to scurry away, letting up a yelp as he pulled you back onto his lap. "You're not going anywhere my love". His fingers tickled your waist mercilessly as you squirmed over him, laughing whilst pleading for him to leave you go. "You think you can trick the God of Tricks! I don't think so". Your brain was too busy panicking about the attack that you failed to notice the genuine laughter coming from Loki, he just adored the uncontrollable laughs -and pleads- that burst from you.

With no option but to surrender, you gave up the remote for his tickling attack to cease. Finally managing to wiggle your way off his lap and from this iron embrace, you lunged yourself to the floor for safety. What a sight you were, looking up at him, panting, your hair messed. The smirk that reached from ear to ear on the God's face was almost criminal.
