life surely is a roller coaster, filled with highs and lows, waking you up with the gift of tomorrow, ending with nothing but broken pieces altogether.
it's surprising how life wakes you up, how it brings a smile to your face, how love abides and fades, and memories begin to change.
yet more likely, it's surprising how it ends. life, as we all know, is unsurprisingly short. we can never deny it, especially how heartbreaking it sounds. but we accept it as it is, even if it can tear us all apart.
i am writing this at 12:40 in the morning, filled with thoughts of life beginning and ending. here i am, growing. oh life, you're constantly changing.
as i begin to leave the pain of yesterday, i remember all the baggage i carried. all the heartaches, the grief, the tears. all the sadness, now they're all gone.
life fades and begins. life sucks because you don't know when it'll end. but all i know is that life is a gift, a very precious gift we should all treasure.
