Yejin POV

After being married and becoming a mom,  I try my best not to work on festive holidays like Seollal, Chuseok and Christmas. But, I need to be fair to the production team too. I can't be selfish and make people to reschedule just to fit my time. Things has been prepared for months and I need to be professional although sometimes it means working on holidays.

Christmas Eve, and I have to work. I should be at home preparing a small feast for my little family for tonight and here I am at the set going through my scripts. Glad that my husband is understanding and he volunteers to prep the dinner for us. I don't know if he able to do it with an active 13 months old who can't sit still and a puppy who equally active. We gave our sitter am off day today because, it's Christmas eve. She might have plans on her own so it's not good to hold her just because I have shooting.

The weather outside is very cold but it's not snowing. I go through the script once again to grasp the real emotion of Cha Mi Jo for the scene. Me and my co star will going to rehearse it next. Just then, me message came in and a smile curved on my face as I watch the short video send to me. My daughter toddling in her little santa dress. Yerin just begin walking earlier this month and she is in the phase of exploring her steps. She can walk for hours without getting tired and both my husband and I need to monitor her closely. Following behind our little girl is our puppy who has turned our mini assistant to look after Yerin. The video ended with a short message by my husband. 'Enjoy filming, we wait you at home. Saranghae.'

Eventhough it sucks to work near the holidays but to know that I have a great person looking after our family back home immediately makes me feel better. I focus back on the script in my hand when I see my co-star is getting ready. It's a good thing today's shoot is in the studio if it's outside or at the apartment complex, it will be more depressing for me to see people walking around enjoying their break or making some preparation.

The shooting went well and we managed to finish it early by not having too many NGs. I believe every one is eager to go home early that we work hard not to make a mistake.

Finally after hours of shooting, we wrapped up close to 9pm. Still early and I can go back home for Christmas dinner. I made a call to my husband and tell him that I'm coming home. Can't wait to hug my baby and I hope the road isn't congested. The journey from Paju to Guri will take approximately 40 minutes and I am glad we moved outside of Seoul as we don't have to face the metropolis congestion to reach home.

My house is rather quiet when I arrived and there's no one in the living room nor the kitchen, but the dining table has been decorated lovelily. My husband loves everything to be proper and even just the two of us will be having dinner but he makes sure it's going to be special.

"Yeobo?" I called out for him while putting my bags at a corner in the living room. There are some Christmas trinkets and gifts that I just received from my fans. They sent me coffee truck to the set together with those gifts today. How thoughtful they are to send me those cute items not only for me but for my little ones as well.

A white maltese came running to me as soon as she noticed I'm home.

"Hi Kitty sweetie, you miss Eomma?" I picked up my new little puppy and give it a kiss. Our old puppy, Doolli got really sick a few months back and unfortunately she had crossed the rainbow bridge and went to a better place. We were so sad for her passing but we knew it's better for her rather than to suffer. So, my husband brought home this new baby a week after because Sarang has been missing her fur sister. The name 'Kitty' is even given by my little girl.

She keeps babbling 'ki-ti' while showing off to the puppy. I believe she got confused with the white kitten cartoon she often watch because of the puppy small size. So, we decided to call the puppy Kitty instead of Mina as what we call her earlier. It's funny how a puppy is being given a cat's name but it's okay, that makes out new fur baby unique. Eversince then, Kitty and Sarang has become each other's best friend.
