Iñaki You're Not Pimping Yourself Out

---------------------------------------------------------------------

"Everything is in order?" Jacob grilled us for what felt like the fourth time as Edward, Bella, Alice, Emmett and I stood in a different meadow far away from Forks. Bella had pricked her finger and was drizzling blood around as she walked to tempt the newborns.

"Yes. You will carry her up to the camp sight and I will join you there later. Then Quil will come relieve you and help keep us informed on everything." Edward assured, explaining the Cullen plan again.

"And we will be here in two hours ready to fight. The hybrids will be ready to go with all the vamps and then you and your pack will give the newborns the jump when they aren't expecting it." I explained, leaning into Emmett as we stood around in a circle. He willingly wrapped his arms around me and held me close.

"Okay, then I guess that is all we can do." Jacob anxiously sighed.

"Yes it is. We can only predict so much of the future." I sighed. "Go home and get something to eat and then be ready to go when Bella texts you."

"Will do." The wolf smiled, turning to go talk to Bella.

"We're going to head back to the Rossi house to make sure everything is in order there." Emmett pipped up, grabbing my hand to pull me away. The rest of his family nodded at us and turned their attention to Bella and Jacob.

"Wanna race back?" I suggested, nudging Emmett with my shoulder suggestively.

"Won't that tire you out before the battle?" He questioned, worry evident on his face. Neither of us were very excited the other was participating in this whole newborn battle thing, but there was nothing we could do about it because neither of us would back out on our family and therefor we couldn't ask that of the other.

"Not really? I slept so much yesterday so I will be all fueled up for today. I swear." I assured him, moving into a crouch position, ready to destroy him in a race.

"Okay, fine, you're on. But no cheating." He scolded, sticking his tong out at me.

"Of course not." I laughed. "Ready?"

"Set"

"GO." We cheered at the same time, bursting into motion. I zoomed in front of him easily. The trees blurred together so that I felt like I was drowning in an abyss of green. The wind blew my hair straight back out of my face and my large t-shirt suddenly became form fitting in the front from my speed.

Emmett did not stand a chance in beating me, but that didn't stop him from trying. He was just too competitive.

"Iñaki you're not pimping yourself out." I groaned, flopping down on the couch next to Aki as my little brother continued messing with his hair and looking in the hallway mirror.

"You never know who he'll meet out on the battle field." Michele laughed as he and Rosalie walked into the house and past my dork of a hybrid brother.

"Hi Rosalie!" I smiled, waving at her as she looked around awkwardly in the house.

"Hi Lucy." She murmured, not moving from my brother's side.

"Are we ready to go? Or are we just gonna keep sitting around here?" Aki groaned, resting her head on my lap as she sprawled out on the couch.

"I think we're about to go. We're just waiting for Giusi and Liam to get out of their cottage thing." Nacho explained, moving from the mirror to sit in the little space beside me.
