Six ~ She's Like a Twelve Year Old Girl

"I'm sorry." Seth mumbled, taking an interest in his shoes.

"I'm just messing with you. I know it's not your fault. I know you're a good kid, trust me I know. But still woah! I did not expect that one." I laughed, trying to lighten the mood as Embry moved towards us.

"You imprinted." The older Quileute boy stated, like he already knew what was going on.

"Maybe..." Seth trailed off, avoiding all eye contact now. The ground and the far off trees were a favorite focal point for him apparently.

"Congrats dude! That's so exciting." Embry grinned, clapping the younger boy on the back. "I'm gonna go inside and try to distract people with chaos while you continue to figure this all out. I'm good at chaos and I think you need a second."

"Thanks man, I honestly do." The youngest Clearwater said, gratitude evident in his voice.

"So...." I trailed off, a little unsure of what to do now. In all my years of existence, I've never particularly had to deal with a family friend who's also a werewolf imprints on little niece crisis.

"I don't know.... what am I supposed to do?" He questioned, finally lifting his head to meet my eyes. They were filled with so much turmoil. He looked like he wanted to walk right over to Charlotte and start talking to her. But it seems like another part of him wasn't really sure what he's supposed to do since she's still so little. Another part just looked a little uncomfortable or maybe just stressed, I'm not one hundred percent sure.

"Do you want me to introduce you?" I offered, that being the only solution to pop into my brain. "But if you do the slightest thing that's weird, I swear to god I will end you Clearwater."

"Never." He defended, putting his hands up in defense. I nodded, gesturing towards the part of the clearing where the kids were playing. As we slowly made our way over, I heard a loud crash from the house, an exasperated sigh and an angry growl. "I guess Embry is doing a good job distracting."

"That he seems to be. Leave it to him to make a mess and waste time." I laughed to myself, before realizing I sound sort of mean. "I swear I love that kid. He's just chaos on legs."

"I know Lucy. We all see how much you care about Embry and Paul and myself. I appreciate it by the way. I feel lucky to have someone as great as you care and worry about me." He smiled shyly, glancing at the ground every now and then as we got closer to the sounds of high pitched screaming and giggles.

"Oh Seth you're gonna make me blush!" I dramatically squealed to ease the tense air, lightly slapping his shoulder. "Hey Charlotte."

"Oh god." He stressed looking all around us like he was looking for an escape plan.
