Epilogue

--------------------------

"Come on, come on!" Giusi yelled, bursting through the front door of Emmett and I's house. A year or so after Bella married Edward, Emmett and I moved to a house tucked away in the woods of Forks. Since then, a lot has happened. It's almost like moving to Forks really jump-started the rest of our lives. It only took some of us two thousand years.

"We're coming," Emmett yelled from Andrea, our youngest daughter's room.

"Momma, why does Daddy always take so long to get ready and leave?" Valerie groaned, coming to stand next to me with a bouquet of flowers.

"Why are you holding flowers, V?" I chuckled, confused as to why my thirteen-year-old-looking daughter looked like she was going to ask someone on a valentine's date.

"These are for Seth. He's asking Charlotte on an official date today." She shrugged like it was no big deal and not something we had all been waiting for almost four years.

"He's finally doing it?" I gasped, starting to get excited. This really was the beginning of the next generation of the Rossi family. "Wow..."

"What are we wowing?" Emmett murmured, carrying Andrea over his shoulder as he held her backpack as well.

"Seth is asking Charlie out today." I beamed, clapping my hands excitedly.

"Oh yeah! I thought we all knew that?" Emmett laughed, leaning down to give me a quick kiss. "V, I'll race you to the car." He challenged, making our oldest daughter hand me the flowers she was holding and stare at her father challengingly.

"You're on! Mom, count us down." Valerie declared, continuing to stare right at her father. I nodded counting down before they sped off towards the car.

"Come on Andrea, let's go. We don't want the wolves to eat all the food before we get there." I laughed, reaching out to pick her up and walk the both of us to the car.

"Will they have cake?" My youngest asked curiously as she looked at me.

"I bet Aunt Sue made cake," I assured her, placing her in the back seat.

"Mom! I won!" Valerie cheered, beaming at me as her father sat in the driver's seat rolling her eyes.

"You're getting slow old man." I laughed, plopping down in the passenger seat before smacking his shoulder.

"Whatever. Let's go. I need to go try to traumatize Seth one more time before he asks Charlotte out." My mate muttered, closing his door, turning the car on, and rolling down the window. "Giusi, we'll see you at the beach." He stated, nodding at my sister and her husband before they headed off towards the woods to run to the reservation.

"Drive." Valerie complained, kneeing the back of her father's seat.

"I'm going, I'm going...."
