Packing

It took you just over 35 minutes to arrive home but you were greeted by your gorgeous golden retriever-river!

"Hey river! Who's been a good girl?" You said in a baby talkish voice whilst stroking behind river's ears.

River barked and scampered round your feet. You were going to have to get your sister to look after her whilst you were gone. After feeding river, you made your way upstairs and got 2 suitcases out of the loft. You and the fam had all exchanged numbers earlier so you now had a WhatsApp group! Jodie made it and it was called: Tardis Team 👍. You laughed at the name and started typing a message.

Hey! It's y/n, what exactly do I need to pack?

Hey y/n! Like the group name? Just bring plenty of clothes, toiletries, pyjamas, money and anything else you would need on a holiday I guess! -Jodie

You smiled, realising that you actually had Jodie Whittaker in your contacts, not just the one with no number to make you feel better about yourself. Actual live Jodie Whittaker. You really had to calm down about her if you were going to be working together! You put your phone on charge and opened your wardrobe, your suitcases spread open on the bed. You pulled out ALOT of clothes, at least 6 pairs of pyjamas, 5 outfits, 3 pairs of shoes, a toiletries bag, your bank card, £200, a portable charger, AirPods, a laptop, a notebook, your timetable and script, a photo of Jodie you had on your dresser, sweets, a hydro flask, a bathing suit, 3 bikinis, 2 towels, a sleep mask, makeup and finally, your teddy bear that you couldn't bare to sleep without.

You stretched your arms out and started to pack whilst putting your Spotify playlist on. Surprisingly, everything just about fitted in! You picked up your phone to see messages from the Tardis Team👍

Sorry guys! I've been very busy with packing but I'm setting off once my mum has taken my dog, river, and I've locked up. Also I wouldn't miss the party for the world! -y/n

You called your mum to come over, she only lived five minutes away so watched modern family whilst you waited, after around 6 minutes she had been and gone, leaving you on your own to lock up. You hauled the suitcases and your bag down the stairs and out the door into your car boot. Twisting the key in the lock, you said good bye to the house and made your way to the car. You got in and started the car, listening to your playlist again.

After arriving at the station, you bought some food for the train and locked up your car, retrieving the suitcases from the boot. When you got on the train, you smiled at the woman opposite you and took a seat, placing your AirPods in your ears and taking a bite of the chicken and bacon sandwich you had purchased earlier. It seemed the train ride only took a matter of minutes but you got everything you needed and started walking to the studio. You thought it would be a good idea to ask where everyone was so once again you opened up Tardis Team👍

You raised your eyebrows. Did she mean to put an x? Surely it was just in a friend way? You need to stop overthinking! Why would she ever like you? She probably is already in a relationship and is most likely straight! You took a deep breath before you got too overwhelmed by the thoughts in your head. As you got closer to the studio, you could see Mandip snd Tosin waving from a distance.

"HI Y/N!" Tosin shouted over.

"HIYA! ILL BE TWO SECONDS" you shouted back.

Mandip embraced you in a hug and Tosin quickly joined in.

"Guys you only saw me like 3 hours ago. Plus I barely know you yet! Love hugs though! You said to them, laughing.

"I know but Jodie has not stopped talking about you." He got an elbow off Mandip at that. "It made it seem like we hadn't seen you in ages! Anyways, let's head in." Tosin said.
