Surprise (Ava and Mandip spin-off)

A/N- this is a spin off chapter for Ava and Mandip because we don't really explore their story too much! Also I have no clue how to write in other POVS so apologies if it doesn't make sense <33

MANDIP'S POV:

"Seriously how cute are y/n and Jodie!" Ava said to you as she got into the car.

"Ugh they are so so cute!" You replied back, also getting in the car.

You admired your beautiful girlfriend sat in front of you. She looked slightly nervous..

You started the car and heard a ding on Ava's phone.

DING

"Who's that?" You asked her, pulling out of the car park.

"Oh, it's just y/n, she's just worried about Jodie." Ava replied, she was definitely lying.

"Oh, ok." You said back, slightly curious as to what the message was really about.

AVA'S POV:

You couldn't possibly let Mandip know what the message was really about (you were planning to propose to her that night and y/n was giving some encouragement).

The rest of the drive was really awkward and you could tell you'd upset Mandip a little bit. She pulled into her drive and walked up to the house, you followed. She locked the car before closing the door behind you.

"Mandip, are you ok??" You asked her, putting your right hand on her shoulder.

"Mhm fine." She replied, shrugging your hand off.

You sighed and turned her body to face you.

"Look I know you're upset with me, I get it I wasn't totally honest with you back there but trust me, you'll find out sooner or later." You tried to comfort her and gave her a gentle smile.

Later on

AVA'S POV:
*in head*
How the hell do I propose to her I think she's still mad at me-.
UGHH BRAIN DONT BE LIKE THIS
Just message y/n it's gonna be ok.
But wait she's with Jodie!?
It's fine Jodie won't mind.
But what if she doesn't reply!?
Then you're gonna have to do this on your own.
You reached down and felt the ring box that was laying in your pocket. You and Mandip had been together quite a long time now and you thought this was the perfect opportunity to propose to her. If you didn't then in a couple weeks you probably wouldn't see her till god knows when!!
Come on Ava you can do this!

"Hey, Mandip! Come here a sec please!!" You shouted downstairs to your girlfriend.
"Coming!!" She replied and you heard her running up the stairs.
"Can I take you somewhere??" You asked her.
"Uhhh yea I guess?" She said.

You clasped her hand in yours and ran to the car, making sure she was still oblivious to your plan.

"Ava, babe, where are you taking me??" She asked you.
"It's ok just trust me, you're gonna love it!" You replied, getting in the car.

When you arrived, Mandip was still very confused. You put a blindfold around her head and lead her slowly towards a spot you loved next to a waterfall. (Ignore the fact there are no waterfalls in London 💀)

"Ok, you can take the blindfold off now." You said to her, taking one of her hands in yours.
As she took it off, she gasped at the scenery around you both.
"Ava!! This is beautiful!!" She said, smiling thoroughly.
"Just like you!" You said, looking into her eyes.
She kissed you on the cheek and you lead her over to a bench where you both sat down.

You talked for a while before you took a deep breath and got down on one knee.

"Mandip Kaur Gill, you're the most loving, kind, beautiful and talented person I know and meeting you for the first time on that movie a couple years ago changed my life forever. The second I saw you I knew that you were the one. I love you so much, Will you marry me?" You said, tears coming out of your eyes.

MANDIPS POV:

Did she just say what I think she said?? ME, MARRY HER?? AHHH THIS IS THE BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!

"OH MY GOD AVA OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU I LOVE YOU SO SO SO MUCH!!!" You said, hugging her and starting to cry.
She put the ring on your finger, it was gold with blue diamonds encrusted into the metal, it was absolutely stunning. Just like her.

She got back up onto the bench and offered a cuddle. You couldn't resist and snuggled into her arms. You couldn't believe you were now to be wed!!!

A/N- well well well, seems we have some love in the air!! They're so cute and I love writing the chemistry of these two 😆😆
