A/n: hey guys, hope you enjoy this chapter thank you so much for all the love and support it means the world! <33 I've just finished editing some previous chapters as they didn't make sense but I should be back on track now, it's been a while!

Y/n's pov:
You woke up in Jodie's bedroom after a very fulfilling sleep with a slight hangover from the drinks. You turned over, expecting to see Jodie layed there, but were met with an empty bed. You sighed, wondering why she'd left. Maybe she didn't like you? No that's not possible.

You dragged yourself up and out of bed, hearing the slight sound of Taylor swift's music coming from the kitchen. Were you still dreaming? Taylor swift was your favourite artist! (Except for Jodie of course). No you weren't dreaming, the song "getaway car" was playing from the kitchen and Jodie was humming along to the chorus. You smiled to yourself, she was so cute.

As you entered the kitchen, the sweet aroma of pancakes filled the air, Jodie noticed you were there and her eyes lit up.

"Y/n! You're awake!" She exclaimed, embracing you immediately.

"Yep! Ive got one nasty hangover though, jeez how much did I drink?" You flopped into her arms and she stroked your head softly.

"I thought you might, take it easy today. I got some paracetamol out for you it's over on the bench." She gestured to the side and smiled.

"Thanks Jodie you're the best." You said and kissed her cheek.

She blushed so much at that and got you some water to take the tablets with and then went back to the pancakes.

"I'm gonna go get ready Jodie, call me when they're ready!!" You said, leaving the room straight after. Feeling her gaze on you.

"Ok no problem! You can borrow some of my clothes by the way, they're just in my wardrobe." She replied, still humming along to the music, which was now playing 'Cruel Summer'

*Back in Jodie's bedroom*

"Right lets see what our options are." You said to yourself, opening her wardrobe.

It was a lot bigger than you expected, kind of like the Tardis! It was beautifully organised and everything was in colour order. There was so much choice!

After practically going through her full wardrobe, you settled on some grey joggers and a blue oversized tardis shirt. You put them on and smiled at yourself, feeling confident.

After doing a bit of skin care and brushing your hair, you heard Jodie call you through for breakfast. You smiled at the harmonic sound of her beautiful voice before walking through to the kitchen.

Your jaw dropped at the sight that lay in front of you: a white table cloth with small, embroidered, blue flowers delicately placed along it was layed on the dining table with a vase in the centre full of daffodils. You got a tiny bit emotional at the thought of someone putting so much effort into something for you!

Jodie stood next to the table, looking beautiful as ever, even if it was morning. She smiled at you and gestured for you to sit down. As you went to take a seat, she pulled the seat out for you and made sure you were sat comfortably. She then walked over to the stove in her apartment and dished up the pancakes.

You drizzled golden syrup along the pancakes and placed slices of strawberry on each one (your favourite combo). Jodie put Nutella and blueberry on hers. You took a picture for your instagram story and posted it.

You both ate your pancakes and then Jodie offered to get drinks, you had apple juice and she had water. It was incredible.

"Jodie can I ask you something?" You asked, nervously after you were both finished eating.

"Um, yes, go ahead." She replied, shifting in her seat.

"How did the talk go.. with Chris?" You questioned.

She shuffled slightly in her seat. "Yea, it was fine, things are over now." Jodie answered bluntly.

"You sure you're okay, you seem a bit down about it whenever it's mentioned that's all. Is there anything you want to talk about?" You asked, hoping that Jodie was alright.

"Well. I told him the truth, how I haven't felt the same about him for a while.. and that I think I'm maybe more into women but I'm not even sure about that. Not that I don't like women because I definitely do but I just can't accept that I don't like men. It's hard to let go everything you've been taught since being a child without even knowing. He said he thought I was disgusting, and that he's been having an affair..." Jodie vented to you, you could really tell she needed to get this out and put a comforting hand on her knee.

"Hey, look at me." You say and she raises her eyes to meet yours, her hazel eyes glistening with a tear. "Everything's gonna be okay. It's over with him now and you don't need to see him again. You're worth the world and don't listen to him because you're not disgusting to me. You're beautiful, more beautiful than words can say. In fact I think you're the most beautiful person I've ever met. And ever will meet. Promise me you won't let him bother you again?" You asked her, starting to get a bit teary yourself.

"I promise." Jodie whispered, quickly embracing you in a hug. You could feel her tears soaking into your shoulder so you pulled her closer, nuzzling your cheek into her soft hair.
