At your hotel room- getting ready
You gently curled your eyelashes and applied some mascara- nothing overboard. You'd decided on a very natural look and didn't want to overdo it. That wasn't your thing at all!! You smiled to yourself in the mirror, wondering what Jodie would think... After finishing your makeup (a gentle smokey eye), you admired the outfit hung up next to your wardrobe :

You put the outfit on and suddenly felt really confident, surely Jodie would think you at least looked pretty?? It's ok Y/n relax. She's gonna love it stop panicking!! You thought to yourself.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, you walked over and opened the door to see who it was. "Hey y/n- OMG YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL!!" Mandip said, her mouth wide open at how you looked. "Aww thanks so do you!!" You said back to her before inviting her in. You and mandip do each other's hair and make sure you are both ready before going downstairs to get in mandip's car. "Oh, are we not taking Jodie as well?" You span round looking for her "Ohhh, no she had to sort some divorce stuff out. She told you right??" She said and you nodded. "Anyway she's gonna meet us there don't worry y/n.. I know you like her." Mandip said, slightly laughing. "I- what I don't know what you're talking about..." you said, not quite sure how to respond to that.
You both got into the car and put the radio on. "Y/n I'm not stupid I've seen the way you look at her, it's the same as how my my partner looks at me." Mandip said, starting the car. "Wait I didn't know you had a partner!? What's their name??" You said, shocked. "Oh yeah!! Their name's Ava but they're in America working on a job so I haven't seen them in a while" mandip lovingly said and smiled. You could tell how much she loved Ava just from the way she spoke about them. "You must love them very much." You said to her, smiling. "Oh I do!! With all my heart! Almost as much as You love Jodie." Mandip teased. "Ok fine maybe I like her a little bit.. ok maybe a lot." You said back to her. "I knew it!!! Y/n you absolutely have to tell Jodie!!" She said. "No way!! Are you kidding me!! I could never with everything she's going through at the moment." You said, wondering if she would reciprocate your feelings or completely break your heart. You were hoping the first option... "Y/n we're almost there if you wanna just message your crush- sorry I mean Jodie" she laughed. "Mandip shush!! Please please don't tell her.." you said to her putting your hand over your face to avoid her seeing you blush. "Ok fine!! I won't say anymore!!" She said, smiling at you before parking.
You opened the chat to quickly message Jodie to tell her you were heading in

"HOLY SHIT MANDIP SHE PUT TWO KISSES!!" You told her, shocked. "Who did!?" Mandip ran over to check your phone. "Jodie!!!" You showed her the messages. "Awww she likes you y/n!! I'm positive of it!" She told you, smiling. "I'm not so sure.. she's probably just being polite.." your mood dropped slightly. "Look y/n.. you'll never know if you don't ask her.. you have to tell her!" Mandip grabbed your shoulders and gave you a quick pep talk.
All of a sudden, a red car pulled into the car park just opposite where you and Mandip were "Hold on I know that car- No it can't be.." mandips eyes lit up at who could be in the car. The person who stepped out was quite short, just shorter than mandip. They had brown hair that was short, a similar length to Jodie's. "AVA!? IS THAT YOU!!!" Mandip ran over, hugging her partner as if it was the last time she was ever going to see them. Your heart melted slightly at the sight and you got very emotional at the pair reuniting. Mandip grabbed her partners hand and brought her over to meet you. "Hi I'm Ava, it's great to meet you!" They smiled and you smiled back "Hey!! I'm y/n! Mandip has told me a lot about you! I thought you were in America!?" You said to them. "Yea I was!! Im back in the UK for a month before I have to fly back to finish the film in working on!!" Ava told you. "Oh that's a shame.. I wish you could stay!!" Mandip said to her partner.
"Guys I'm gonna head in and meet the others!! Feel free to continue your reunion!! Don't let me get in the way!" You gave them a quick smile before breathing slowly and heading towards the door. You were about to ask mandip for some advice on what to say to Jodie and spun around. The two kissed before embracing each other with all the love they had for each other. "Awwww.." you said to yourself and longed tor a relationship like that.
Turning back around, you entered the venue and took a deep breath...
