First Doesn't Mean Last

The one I love isn't you

In the morning, Mei woke up with her eyes swollen. She cried so much last night.
"Ugh... I let that guy see my weak side..." She mumbled getting angry at herself.
'Then again... yesterday was Rui's death anniversary... I couldn't even visit him because of Xiao Lei!' She thought as she glanced beside her to see if Xiao Lei was still there.
The bed was empty! Even Chen Xue wasn't in bed.
"It's Saturday, so he wouldn't get up so early. Did Xiao Lei dared to kidnap my baby?!"
At the thought, Mei frowned and quickly rushed downstairs. She stopped when hearing faint laughs.

"...haha. You suck." Chen Xue said while standing on the chair and watching Lei cook.
"Sure, sure. We'll see how greatly you can cook when you grow up." Lei chuckled while flipping the pancakes.
"Hmph. I can cook now and prove I'm better."
"No thanks. Your mom will kill me before." Lei sarcastically spoke as he grabbed a plate to put the pancake on.
"Oh really?" Mei stepped towards them with a sneer on her lips. "Should I just kill you now then?" She asked glaring at him.
Xiao Lei gulped and quickly turned his head.
Chen Xue giggled and ran towards his mother.
"Mommy!" He excitedly shouted as he hugged her legs.
Mei glared at Xue.
"So, now that you meet this guy you don't even bother telling me when you got up and all? Are you that big? Should I send you to England to study abroad?" Mei scolded her son with an angry tone.
"Calm down. Why are you scolding the poor child?" Xiao Lei asked as he put another pancake on the plate.
"You. Shut up." The pair of mother and son spoke at the same time.
Both of them were surprised and stared at each other for a few seconds. Then they burst into laughter.
"What the..." Lei turned his head to make sure they haven't gone crazy or something. After all, these two were very weird but he would gladly marry that woman and be this child's father.
At first, it was because of how pretty she was. Now it's more because of her loyalty, the way she loves someone, the way she acts and everything about her became amazing in his eyes.
'Is this what people call love? Getting blinded by love? Well, guess I am blind.' He sighed as he put the plates on the table along with maple syrup.
"Come and eat."

Mei and Xue finally stopped laughing and reached to the table and took a seat on the chairs.
Chen Mei looked up at Lei who didn't take a seat.
"Are you a housewife that you can't sit and eat with us?" Mei chuckled while speaking.
Xiao Lei frowned and removed his apron, throwing it on the floor and sat beside her.
"No, I'm not." He angrily stated. He hated being compared to something like that but somehow he wasn't that much angry.

-After eating-

"Go home, Xiao Lei," Mei ordered with an annoyed expression. She had enough of this man because of whom she missed such an important day yesterday. He also saw her crying when she was holding all her pain for years already. And to make it worse, they kissed!

"I will, I will." Lei came downstairs with his coat on since he removed it while cooking.
"Hmph." Mei flipped her hair elegantly, waiting for him to leave.
"Go and never come back." Xue stuck his tongue out, grimacing at him.
"Whatever." The man rolled his eyes and left the house.

"Finally!" The mother and son sighed out loud together. Then started laughing, realizing how much they think alike.

-At Xiao mansion-

Lei'er got off his car and entered the house with quick steps.
"Stop right there." A creaky voice loudly said. It was his mother who was sitting on the sofa with her arms and legs crossed.
Lei didn't pay attention and kept walking past her.
"Xiao Lei!" Xiao Hua yelled at him.
Lei halted for a second and turned his head to look back at her. He had a vet angered and gloomy aura around him which overwhelmed his mother.
"I don't want to hear anything you have to say." He firmly said before walking up the stairs to get to him.

Arrived inside his room, he saw Hao Yixuan in his bed covered in a grey blanket. He rolled his eyes and pulled off the cover.
"Oh my, you're so vulgar, Lei'er~" She spoke with a seductive voice as she turned her head towards him.
She was wearing only her undergarments.

Xiao Lei frowned at the sight and turned himself towards the door immediately.
"Get out, Yixuan!" He yelled.
"Come on, Lei'er~ It's not fair! You were outside with another woman all night again but you're acting all pure in front of me." She cutely spoke taking small steps toward him. She wrapped her bare arms around him, holding him tightly so he could feel her breast against his back.

She loved him dearly. Ever since they were small, he was the one who has always protected her. She used to get bullied because of how fat she used to be but he never complained about it. That's why she wanted to become his best option so he would choose her no matter what. She knew she was always his number one until he started acting cold after his father passed away.
'But it's ok. He will become normal again and be mine.' She thought with smiling brightly and holding him still.

Lei turned around which made Yixuan think she had succeeded in making him feel the same way she did for him.
To her surprise, he had a worse complexion than before. As if he would kill her at any moment.
Hao Yixuan gulped and quickly let go of him. Even she couldn't afford to offend him.

Lei was disgusted by Yixuan's actions. He knew his mother made her think all crazy shits but he didn't know it was to this extend. He always treated like his little sister but now she was trying to seduce him.
'Disgusting.' He thought.
"Get out." He ordered as he walked over to the bed and grabbed the blanket and threw it on her. "I already have someone I love. And the one I love is not you," He said dragging her out and before closing the door at her face.

Hao Yixuan stood there with the cloth covering her. She felt a sting in her heart but she let out a soft laugh.
"No, no, Lei Gugu. You're mine. Even if you don't love me, you're meant for me. No one else deserves you. I'll make sure to wipe out that bitch you love from the earth." She mumbled with an evil sneer at the corner of her lips.
