Mei walked out of the store as she saw Lei's BMW car.
'This idiot again? Why do I keep meeting him? It's like a curse!' She rolled her eyes as she tried to quickly leave without him noticing her.

"Hello there, my dear girlfriend." Xiao Lei spoke with a grin on his lips as he waved his hand at Chen Mei.
Mei glared at him.
"What do you want?" She asked as she turned behind to look at the man she was talking to.
"Let me give you a lift." The man smirked as he noticed she didn't have her car with her.
"I'll get a cab." The young woman walked further towards the street. She waved her hand so some cabs would stop by but none did.
'Right, call one. What's wrong with my mind?' Mei took out her phone from her black purse and made a call.
"Sorry, we are not available at the moment. Please try again later." A female's voice spoke on the phone call.
Mei hung up and sighed. She glanced at Lei knowing she had no choice but to take his offer.

Lei, on the other side, enjoyed the scene. He didn't know she would humiliate herself by trying to call a cab on such a rich street.
'Well, she is rich but it looks like she isn't used to China yet.' He chuckled finding her cuter.

"Now, get on the car." He pointed his thumb towards the sit beside him.
Mei rolled her eyes and opened the vehicle's door and entered inside.
She posed her flowers on her lap to put her seat belt. Then, she looked outside through the window.
"Why did you bought flowers? For who?" Lei'er's lips curved into a grin although his heart was stinging. He was jealous of that person but he refused to admit it. Even if it was to himself.
"For you, my dear boyfriend." Mei sarcastically spoke as she forcefully smiled at him.
"Wow, for real?!" The male excitedly extended his hand towards the flowers.
Mei frowned and slapped his hand away.
"Don't touch. It's for... my baby!" She quickly thought about who because she didn't want him to know about Chen Rui's death.
"Ah... okay." Lei pouted as he started driving his car.

After reaching the highway, Lei glanced at Mei.
"Where are we going?" He asked as he didn't before starting to drive.
"My home," Mei mumbled with a soft voice.
'Sigh... I bought everything I needed but I can't visit him today because of this man! So annoying.' The young woman posed her head against sir as she closed her eyes. Slowly, she fell asleep.

It took a whole three hours for them to reach the Chen mansion.
As Lei reached the gates, he sighed as he glanced at Mei'er still sleeping peacefully. He slowly lent closer to her as he looked at her face fully. He looked at her eyelashes that were the same colour as her violet hair. Her perfect-shaped lips; not thin or too thick either. The round jawline made her look cute although her personality is very cold.

He slowly brushed the hair on her face to the side, exposing her neck. He noticed a mole on it.
'Heh. Who wouldn't thought she had a mole at a place like this?' Lei chuckled as he was admiring her beauty.
He stopped only when he noticed Mei's eyelashes moving a little, like a sign she would wake up.
Lei quickly backed off and acted like he was waiting for her to wake up for a long time.

Mei woke up slowly opening her eyes. The sun was already setting down. She gasped as she realized she was still inside Lei's car.
"Sorry... I fell asleep." Mei rubbed her head quickly as she got awkward.
"It's fine," Lei smirked. "You can invite me in to repay." He spoke with evil thoughts going on in his mind.
"Alright." Mei got off the car as she took her flower bouquet. "Come in." She added as she stepped towards the door.

Lei was shocked by her answer. He thought she would just refuse it but to his surprise, she accepted! He was quite happy about it although he tried to hide it.
'Maybe she knows how to defend herself, or else she wouldn't ask any man to come inside, right? I mean, she's so beautiful... I'm sure a lot of guys tried to approach her, right?' Xiao Lei questioned himself without knowing the answer.

Mei took out her keys from her purse as she opened the door with her keys as she took off her shoes near the entrance and put them off the shoe shelf. She didn't utter a word to Lei and went upstairs.
Xiao Lei followed the female inside glancing around, wondering if anyone was inside the house. To his surprise, he saw no one. He took off his shoes and placed them beside Chen Mei's.
He watched Mei'er go up the stairs as he took a seat on the sofa. He was faced in front of the same picture as last time. Strangely, he still looked just as handsome as last time. Like as if no one will get tired of watching his picture every day. It got him more intrigued. He got the idea of taking a picture so he will know when he meets the person in real life. He smiled softly as he took out his phone and clicked an image of the poster hanging on the wall.

"You!" A kid's voice yelled.
Xiao Lei already knew who it was before even seeing it. It was Chen Xue.
"Why are you here?!" Chen Xue rushed downstairs, getting ready to kick him out. He was wearing a white shirt with blue shorts.
"Your mommy told me to come in," Lei'er smirked as he crossed his arms with a proud feeling.
"Get out of my house! RIGHT NOW!" Xue yelled.

Chen Mei ran downstairs from her room as soon as she heard Xue's loud voice. She only had time to change into a simple blue shirt with jeans pants. Her hair was still messy as she didn't have time to fix them.

"What's wrong baby?" She asked Xue as she picked him up.
"Kick him out, mommy." Xue pouted. "I don't like him!"
"Baby... you know, he is someone I agreed to date." Mei tried to explain Xue. "So, if he can't spend time with us, how should we test him?" She whispered against his ear, making sure Xiao Lei doesn't hear.

Thankfully, he didn't although he was kind of pissed about it.

Chen Xue chuckled evilly as he nodded. "Oki, mommy!"

Mei put her son on the floor as she headed towards the kitchen.
"Baby, grandpa and grandma won't be home today. They went to a friend's birthday party so I will make dinner, alright?" She took the hairband on her waist as she tied up her hair in a ponytail.
"Okay, I'll watch over our guest." Chen Xue sneered as he glanced at Lei'er.
Lei giggled as noticed the child's intentions.

"So kid, how did you got home alone? Aren't you afraid?" Lei raised an eyebrow as he crossed his legs.
"Hah. Who do you take me for?" The little boy jumped on the sofa next to the young man. "I have my ways~" He acted cool although it was his grandparents that dropped him before going to their party.

"What will you do when I become your dad, hm?" Lei poked Chen Xue's cheek as his playful face slowly turned normal. He was a cold man, to begin with. He was only acting playful and flirty around Chen Mei.
"Hah, you? My dad? I bet you can't even hack someone. And I'm sure you can't even play sports well." Xue'er mocked Xiao Lei with a grin on his lips.
"Bet?"
"Bet," Xue replied.
"What do you bet?" Lei asked.
"I won't kick you out."
"Hmm. And if you win?"
"Back off from my mom." Xue glared at him coldly.
Lei glared back at him with a sharp gaze, but more overwhelming since he was an adult.
