A/N: Short chapter, lmao

Twilight had gone to nearly every village, panting heavily. He shook his head, refusing to accept this fate. "It's not fair! You didn't deserve this.." He whimpered. He then perked up at an idea. He turned around and ran back down the path to Kakariko Village. "Impa! Wait! What..what about the shrine of resurrection..? It helped him before, right? It can do it again!" He breathed out, trembling. "Hero of Twilight..he's too far gone..the Shrine..helped him because he was injured, he's.. lifeless this time. I'm sorry..you have to let him go.."

"No..No..I refuse! I won't let him go! I have to try! I'll find it! I'll bring him back! I'll bring my little hero back!" He screamed, running down the steps of the house, holding Wild tightly. He had already gotten pale and cold. His body felt stiff but even then, Twilight refused to acknowledge it. He ran and ran, without stopping for even a second to the Shrine. "I have to..!"

He was finally close to the shrine. He hadn't stopped to rest for days, just wanting to see his friend again. "I won't give up on you..I can't let you go..!" He gasped out as his chest begged for him to slow down. The burning sensation was getting worse. Though Twilight forced himself to keep sprinting towards his last hope. He finally made it in and jumped down the ledge, running towards the small pool that had been glowing a light blue. He gently laid the small Hylian down on his back, in the liquid. "Please work.." He muttered.

After he finished the process, he sat and waited. Not looking away from Wild once. "Please..I can't lose you..I can't.." He sighed softly, reaching over and taking the others hand in his. He stared down at it as his thumb gently ran over his knuckles, stroking them softly. "Heh..I always thought your hands were so tiny.." He smiled. "Please..I want to hear your voice..I'm sorry for.. everything I've said..I'd do anything to see you again..your smile was everything to me..Wild..please let me see it again.." he rambled, now reaching over and stroking Wild's cheek gently. "Hylia..bring him back.. please..it's my fault he's like this..Take my life for his, please! People need him! It's not fair!" He exclaimed, tears once again rolling down his cheeks. Stinging the cuts he had all over his face.

"I just want you to be okay..you're my happiness..my other half.. please..I don't want to be apart from you.. without you..I am nothing..I don't care what anyone says..there...there has to be a way..I'll never give up..I'll never stop trying to bring you back..I can't live without you.." He muttered. "I help you with your quests..you help me get home..remember that deal we made? It looks like you kept your end of it..with you..I am home..you're my home, Wild..I don't want you to leave me..I need you as much as I need air to breathe..come back to me, little hero.."

Days had passed and Twilight had not left Wild's side. He'd occasionally make little conversation with him, cleaning up and rebandaging his wound when it got too messy. He was beginning to slip. The longer he went without his companion, the more of his sanity went down the drain. He'd find himself laughing as if Wild had responded back to him on something he had said, seeming to be having a two way conversation with no one. He also hadn't eaten in days, swearing to himself he'd eat his next meal with Wild only. The Wolf hero also refused to let the other boy's hand go. As if he was scared Wild would disappear if he did. "Any day now.. Right? .....Yeah..I agree. It'll be soon! What should I make for dinner on that day, Wild? ....Great choice.." He muttered, chuckling to himself. "Soon.. You'll be with me again..I won't ever let you go.. Ever.. Again." He smiled, letting out small fits of laughter between the words.

"You won't leave me..ever.."
