A/N: I'm feeling nice so here's another chapter. And I'm also excited to write the rest of the story. So start expecting more frequent updates:)

The two Links had been walking for hours. Now of course they knew they could've just teleported to the tower nearby, but they wanted the journey to last a little longer. Occasionally doing side quests, going into villages, and having to fight off monsters. "Look, over there is the Shrine of Resurrection. It helped heal me after...um..nevermind that part," Wild muttered nervously. Twilight tilted his head, arching an eyebrow. "I've told you my story, yet I still don't know what happened to you." He huffed. Wild looked down. "I know..I'm not ready to..relive that," he said softly, fiddling with his light blue tunic. "Alright well, whenever you're ready..don't stress about it." The oldest smiled. "Thank you.."

"Look! A stable. We can rest there for a while." Wild pointed out happily. "Finally, Hylia, I need to sit down, my feet hurt." Twilight complained, causing the other to giggle softly. They finally arrived, the Wolf hero immediately going over to sit down by the campfire as Wild went to talk to one of the stable workers.

Twilight was lost in thought, thinking about a certain Hylian when he was suddenly interrupted by the sound of yelling. He looked over to see the worker scolding Wild about something. He moved closer to try and hear what they were saying. "You! You're not a hero! I recognize you now! You're a weak little Hylian, too weak. You should've never been the Princess's appointed knight. If they would've chosen someone that wasn't a coward and was actually worthy, then maybe she wouldn't be gone! Maybe villages wouldn't be destroyed! Well? Aren't you going to say something??" The man exclaimed, jabbing two of his fingers in Wild's shoulder. "I..um.." He muttered, tearing up. "Can't even deny it. The blood of thousands are on your hands..you're just as bad as Calamity Ganon himse-"

"That's enough!" Wild gasped softly and looked up to see Twilight standing in front of him. "Who do you think you are talking to him like that?? I don't see the legendary blade in your hands, so I suggest you be quiet. He is a hero, and he's helped many people, so don't go running your mou-"

"He's right..he's completely right..it's all true..I don't deserve this sword.." Wild muttered, taking out the master sword. He sighed as he then stabbed it into the ground and walked off. Wiping away the tears rolling down his cheeks. Twilight stared in shock for a moment before turning back to the old man. "You know..I wrestled a Goron and won, guess I'm pretty strong." He hummed. "So what?" The man spat. Twilight just smiled and balled his fist, bringing it up and swinging at the man's face with all his might. The impact sending the other to the ground. The old man gasped and cupped his now bruising cheek. "Don't ever speak to him, don't ever speak about him, and don't even think about him ever again." The Wolf hero growled before grabbing the sword and running off to find Wild.

Wild was currently sitting against a few boulders, far from the stable. He buried his face in his knees as he wept and wept. Twilight finally got close enough to be able to hear the sobbing. He ran over and pulled the other into a tight embrace. "Sh..it's alright, breathe. Relax, he's gone now." He cooed softly, running his fingers through the small Hylian's golden hair. "It was all true..it was all so true.." He cried into his chest as Twilight looked down at him sadly. "Wild..I know it's hard..but you need to tell me what happened so I can help you.." he murmured. After a few moments Wild pulled away and nodded softly, wiping his tears. "Okay...Alright..well-"

"When I finally remembered everything..everyone was dead..and it was all my fault..I should've been stronger..why wasn't I stronger..?? I shouldn't be a hero..I'm no better than-.." He trailed off, shaky breaths leaving his lips. Twilight was quiet the whole time, just watching the other as he explained. He then spoke up, once he was sure Wild was finished. "You're a hero. You're still a hero. That sword chose you for a reason, and I know for a fact it made the right choice."

"But Twi-"

"Let me talk. It's my turn. Wild, that man wasn't right. You fought till your last breath, you were going to die, yet you only focused on protecting Zelda! That's more than anyone else would do. At that moment, it's normal to think about yourself and your wellbeing..but you didn't. Not once. Wild, you are the most selfless person I've ever met. Even when you didn't remember who you were or anything about your past, you kept fighting..even when you found out, you pushed through and kept fighting..I know it hurts, that's why I'm here with you. That blood is not on your hands. You're unbelievably strong.. continuing to fight even when you've lost everything..that's pretty amazing to me. So don't give up now. You can help the people that are left, be the hero you were chosen to be..and I'll be by your side the whole time," He smiled softly, resting his forehead on the others. Wild's eyes were wide with shock, tears flowing down his cheeks. He then looked down at the sword and hesitantly grabbed it. He looked up at Twilight and without another thought, hugged him tightly. "Thank you.." he murmured, burying his face in his neck."Thank you..so much.."

"There's no reason to thank me, Wild..and I meant every word. Now..let's find a place to set up camp for the night?" The elder of the two grinned. "Yeah..let's do that.." With that, the two heroes went off to find a safer, more secluded spot. Setting up camp, and creating their own little shelter. Wild went to start the fire as Twilight went to find something to eat. He came back with a few items, having gone hunting. He gave it all to the younger Link, and he began cooking right away.

Now they both sat on the hard ground near the tent, eating their dinner. "You are a really good cook. Who taught you?" Twilight complimented, looking down at his friend. "Oh I don't actually remember..I don't know if I was self taught or someone showed me..I guess I still don't have all my memories." He answered, nibbling his food. "I see.." The other sighed softly. It was quiet for a while, neither of them sure on what to talk about. It was getting rather awkward so the taller male decided to break the silence. "So that old man that was yelling at you...I punched him across the face," He stated casually.

"Oh...WAIT YOU WHAT??"
