I'm putting the little storytime about my life here before the art because there's big news that I think a fair bit of you will want to hear :)

On the 24th, M and I were saying good morning to each other over text like normal.
I'll show this next part in texting form because it's easier:
Them: goood morning
Me: morning :)
Them: hey can I ask you something?
Me: sure, go ahead
Them: would you be okay with me referring to you as my girlfriend or partner or something?
Me: Ahadgdvdbbdsnbf yes omg <3
Them: YES
Them: YES YES YES
Them: omg
Them: for a second I thought you were gonna say no 😭😭😭
Me: sorry I forgot how to breathe so it took a while to type it out 💀
Them: lol it's ok
Me: So uh would you prefer that I refer to you as girlfriend or something more gender-neutral?
Them: girlfriend is fine
Them: I've never really liked any of the gender-neutral terms
Them: what about you?
Me: same :)
Them: okay cool

So yeahhhh that's how it went down ^^
Now I have a girlfriend!
Although I just want to remind y'all that even though we both use the term "girlfriend", we're still non-binary and prefer they/them pronouns.
In the days since the 24th we've been texting really often, and sending super cute messages. It makes me so happy :)
Today I said hi by sending them a video of me drawing a heart in the snow, and they sent one back.
I told them that I almost got frostbite from touching the snow since it was so cold, and they said "if you get frostbite from drawing a heart in the snow for me I'll be so fricking mad" and when I told them I was going back outside they told me not to freeze. My brain was like "omg they care if I get frostbite or not and don't want me to freeze to death?!?!?? 😱😰😳🥺😩🥰😍"
The bare minimum, people. That's all it takes for me to start falling head over heels for someone.
But also with M it's not just the bare minimum; they express how much they care about me every day, and I love them so much for it.
And anyways, today we were just chatting over text  when they mentioned a movie I haven't seen. This is what happened:
Them: have you ever seen (*the movie*)?
Me: no
Them: I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY WE ARE WATCHING THAT
Me: YES OK
Them: AND CUDDLING IF THAT'S OK WITH YOU
Me: YES ABSOLUTELY 🥺🥰

So now we're gonna watch a movie and cuddle sometime soon after I get back from my grandparents' house :D
I can't wait to see them in person again!!!!
