chapter 13

I woke up the next morning with his arms around me. I smiled and rolled over. He kissed my forehead.
"Goodmorning beautiful," he smiled. OK
I laughed, "morning."
We both sat up and the puppies were still sleeping. I stood up and went to the bathroom. I turned on the shower and got in. It was nice to take a shower. I washed my hair and everything else. I found a razor and shaved. I felt brand new. I got out and wrapped a towel around my body and hair. I looked around and found a toothbrush not opened. I brushed my teeth and spit out the rest. I smiled. I hate my teeth. I hate my body. I walked out and into the room. I grabbed the smallest pair of sweat pants I could find. They were still big, good thing they had the ties. I tied them to where they fit me. I found a tank top that looked like it had belonged to a girl. I put it on and it fit me. I walked into the bedroom and saw Aaron laying on the bed without a shirt. All he had was sweat pants on. I smiled and walked over to him.
"Comfy?" I asked.
"No," he sighed, "Will you lay down next to me?"
"Oh I guess," I smiled
I laid next to him and the puppies jumped up. I laughed.
"Comfy now?" I asked.
"Definitely," he smiled.
I chuckled and he kissed my cheek. I smiled and rolled to where I was facing him.
"I bet I can train Lily better than Diesel," I smiled.
"I bet you can't," he said.
"There's only one way to find out," I sat up, "let's go to that training park."
He smiled and sat up next to me.
"Ok," he smiled, "you're on."
We both stood up and grabbed the puppies. We walked to the training park. I started on tubes he started on climbing. Within minutes Lily was able to run through the tubes without being told. Only with hand movements. I went to the hurdles. She was great. She was little but fast.
"I thought you were doing tubes!" He shouted.
"Was," i smiled, "she's already learned it."
"No way," he said, "Lily tubes."
She stopped and looked at him.
"Ha!" He laughed.
"Lily go through the tubes," I smiled.
She ran to the tubes and went through them.
"You cheated!" He said.
"How did I cheat!" I laughed.
"I don't know but you did!" He yelled.
I kept laughing.
"Come on Lily!" I shouted, "back to jumps!"
She ran to me and started jumping again. I looked over at Diesel and Aaron. He didn't even understand the climbing part yet. I laughed and kept up with lily. Was she got the hurdles down I went to the long jumps. Then we went to sprints. She was fast. Very fast indeed. Then we went to climbing.
"You guys need to find something else to do," I laughed.
"There's plenty of other things," Aaron said.
"I've already done everything else," I sighed.
"No way," he turned, "show me."
"Lilly," I smiled, "hurdles, long jump, sprint and tubes in that order."
She did everything and in the correct order. I looked at Aaron.
"Ha," I smiled, "now can I use this?"
He threw his head back, "I guess so."
He moved Diesel to the hurdles and i worked on climbing. Soon Lily got that down and I decided to run around with her and do some basic commands.
"Sit," I held my hand up, "sit."
She sat and I bent down.
"Good girl Lily," I pet, "good girl."
After multiple more times i started on lay down. Then stay and roll over and paw. Then moved on to guarding skills. I pointed to Diesel.
"Get him," I whispered.
She barked and ran. I laughed and watched her tackle diesel.
"Lily!" I laughed, "sit and stay."
She back away and sat down. She didn't move till I got there.
"Up," I smiled.
She stood up. Aaron looked at me.
"OK I give up," he said, "take diesel and train this dog. He won't listen to me."
I laughed and took Diesel to the tubes. I pointed and Lily ran in. Diesel followed her. She ran in and out of the tubes multiple times.
"Lily sit," I said, "Diesel through."
He ran through and back to me. I smiled. We went to hurdles.
"No way," He said, "no way."
"Diesel, Lily," I said, "tubes and come back."
We watched both of them run to the tubes and go through. Diesel followed Lily back.
"All he did was follow her," he said.
"Lily sit," I sighed, "Diesel through."
He ran and did the tubes by himself and then ran back. I looked at Aaron and laughed. After a long day of rubbing that lily is better in Aarons face we left. Both puppies left 10x smarter and quicker. They were tired and so was I.
"Ready for dinner?" Aaron asked.
"Sure," I smiled.
I put cups of food in the puppies bowls and skeins set them down. They ate and went to the living room. Aaron made dinner and I watched him. Mine. He is mine. Forever and always. He got done and we ate. We really didn't talk that much. Afterwards I did the dishes and he put them away. We went to the couch and sat down. He laid down and put his head on my lap. I played with his hair in one hand while he held the other. We watched TV and then got ready for bed.
"Goodnight," he said.
I rolled over to where I was facing him.
"What's wrong?" I asked, " and don't say nothing. I know there is something wrong."
"I'm just scared," He sighed, "scared that I'll lose you again. I don't want to lose you. I've lost you to many times and almost lost you completely. I can't stand thinking about it. I...I...I love you Emma and I can't afford to lose you again."
"You will never lose me," I shook, "ever. I'll always find a way to get back. Always. You'll always be there to save me and I'll always be there to save you. Look I love you too honestly. I liked you from the start and I don't want to lose you either."
He smiled and kissed me. I smiled through it.
"OK goodnight beautiful," he smiled, "I'll be right here when you awake."
"Goodnight," I yawned.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close. I fell asleep right there in his arms.
