I'm Here

chapter 12

We left the hospital and he kept ahold of my hand the entire time. Every little sound he would jump around. He was nervous and so was I. At this point anything could happen. We walked and walked till we were nearly on the other side of town.
"Stay here," he said.
I nodded. I watched him walk up to a house and knock on the door. The door opened and there was a shot gun pointed at him.
"Aaron," I whispered, "get away from there."
He didn't hear me. They starte talking and the man put his gun down. The house was huge. Aaron ran to me.
"Trust me," he smiled, "come on."
He grabbed my hand and nearly dragged me in the house. He took me upstairs and to the left. He opened the door for me and I walked in. The room was large and there was a window along the side. He shut the door and tackled me onto the bed. I screamed, and started to laugh. He kissed my neck and then my lips.
"Happy?" He asked.
"Happy im with you," I smiled, "but I just don't know. I have a weird feeling about this place."
"Well we got lucky," he sighed, "Jeff is only here a month out of the year and this is the month he's here."
"So he leaves?" I asked.
"Yeah," he smiled, "we'll have it all to ourselves."
I smiled, "when does he leave?"
"Tomorrow," he said, "that's it."
I smiled and kissed him. We'll have it all to ourselves. I can't wait. He kept our hands together.
"I'll be back in a bit," he stood up, "just rest here. Jeff is packing and won't bother you. I'll be back in a bit."
"Ok," I sighed.
He kissed me again and left the room. He shut the door and besides the room was a mess. I stood up and started picking it up. I made the bed. Matched things to box's. Trophy box, picture box, plastic box, wood box, etc. I walked out and Jeff looked at me.
"Well look who let the dog out," he smiled.
I laughed, "hey do you have a vacuum?"
"Yeah right in there," he nodded.
"Thank you," I smiled.
I walked down the hall and grabbed the vacuum. I walked back out and took it to the room we were in. I started vacuuming. I stopped, turned it off, and out it back. I walked in and went to the bathroom. I looked under the sink and found windex. I wiped down the windows, and tv. I put it away and sprayed air freshner around. I nodded.
"All done," I smiled, "now I can relax."
I put everything away and went to the bed. I jumped and laid down. I spread my arms out and closed my eyes. Nope the sun is in my face. I stood up and shut the blinds. Better. I laid back down and closed my eyes. I fell asleep.
Aaron pov
I am so glad that I found her. I screamed and screamed but she wouldn't answer. I started to think the worst but then I saw her. It was so hot in that room. I ripped The blanket off. I carried her to the hospital and then to a friends house. He was leaving tomorrow and I knew he wouldn't tell my dad. I was going to surprise her. I had the money for it and I already talked to Jeff about it. A puppy. It was a husky and German Shepherd mix. A little girl puppy. I walked to the house which was a few blocks away and knocked on the door.
"Why hello do you want a puppy?" She asked.
I nodded asked she let me in. There were two puppies left. A boy and girl.
"I'll take the brown one," I smiled.
"Listen sir," the lady sighed, "if the other one isn't sold by eight then he has to go to the pound. It's 7:33 and i doubt someone will pick him up. Please can you take him. I'll give him to you for free. Please please please take him."
I looked at him and he walked up to me slowly. I smiled and laughed.
"Of course," I smiled, "I'll take them both."
The lady wrapped her arms around me, "thank you so much."
"No problem," I smiled
She gave me two leashes and I gave her the money. I walked out with two when it was only supposed to be one. I slowly walked into the house.
"Hey man," Jeff said, "she'll love them. She's sleeping. She worked hard in that room. But I'm leaving tonight. I have everything ready. Take care of the place. See ya next year."
He patted my back and walked out the door. I took the puppies up the stairs and into our room. She was sleeping on the bed. I Unleashed the puppies and they laid down. I walked over and laid next to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me. I kissed her neck.
Emma pov
"Hey baby girl," I heard, "wake up please."
I rolled over and smiled at him.
"I got you something," he smiled.
I grinned, 'what?"
I sat up with him and saw two puppies.
"Oh my gosh," I said, "how?"
"I have my ways?" He smiled, "the brownish one is a girl and the black is a boy. They are husky and German Shepherd mixs. Brother and sister."
"Well," I smiled, "the brownish one can be named lily, and you choose the boys name."
"Chief or Diesel?" He asked.
"Diesel," i smiled, "make him sound real tuff."
He laughed and the two puppies jumped up on the bed. I laughed and they both ran to me. They jumped on me and started licking my face. I laughed.
"Hey get down," he said, "come on."
"They're just puppies," I said.
"Yeah and they're going to be trained like police dogs," he nodded.
I laughed, "ok."
"I know where a training course is," he said, "we'll go there tomorrow."
I nodded and laid back down. I fell asleep right as he laid next to me.
