chapter 15

Aaron pov
A little while later she fell asleep on my lap. I smiled and kept my arms securely around her. I laid my head on top of hers and kissed her.
"Just get some rest sweet pea," I whispered, "just get some rest."
Then the puppies started barking.
"Sh!" I snapped, "lay down or go outside."
The two of them opened the back door and went outside. I smiled and shook my head. The door closed and I soon fell asleep.
Emma pov
I woke up in his arms. I smiled and noticed we weren't holding hands. I moved my arm and set my hand over his. He moved and looked down at me.
"Hey sleepy head," he smiled.
"Yeah look who's talkin' sleepy head," I chuckled.
He smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Oh come on," I smiled, "you can do better than that."
He laughed and i kissed him on the chin.
"Oh really?" He smiled, "well you can do better than that."
He kissed the tip of my nose.
"Come on, "i smiled, "kiss me baby."
I kissed him and he kissed me back. The barking broke us apart. I stood up and walked to the back door. I opened it and they ran in scared. I walked out. I saw three men all holding guns at me. I gasped and stood still.
"Aren't you gonna run?" One asked.
"No," I Said, "I won't run."
A man walked to me and pushed me down. I stood back up and leaned against the wall.
"Emma?" I heard a shout.
"I'm ok," I winced, "just enjoying the view."
"Let's go," a man snapped.
I shook my head and ran to Aaron. He stood up and I ran into his arms.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
I turned around and the three men walked in. My heart started racing and I was scared. The dogs surrounded us and started growling.
"Lay down guys," I whispered, "go upstairs."
They didn't listen. I kneeled down and they turned around.
"Listen to me," I whispered, "go upstairs and if I yell you can come down ok?"
They each licked my face, and ran up the stairs.
"You come with me!" One shouted.
The other two men grabbed Aaron and pinned him against the wall.
"Aaron!" I screamed, "let him go!"
"No," one said.
the man that was by me pushed me to the ground. I gasped and hit. Thud! I stood back up and he slapped my face.
"Hey don't hit her!" Aaron shouted.
The two men both hit him in his gut and he doubled over. I stood back up and pushed the guy. He stumbled and then charged at me. I tried to move but he grabbed my arm and took me Down. I let out a cry of pain as he fell on top of me. A tear ran down my cheek. Aaron tried to get to me but couldn't. They took him outside.
How will I get to him?
Will he get killed?
The man hit my face again and I shut my eyes. He laughed and stood up
"Good luck finding me," he laughed, "you blacked out anyways...why am I even talking to you?"
I kept my eyes shut and I heard the front door close. I whistled. The dogs ran down the stairs and to me. They both laid down and I put my hands on them. They stood up and I stood up with them. I stumbled to the door and grabbed my side. I have to find him. The dogs kept me from going outside.
"We," I winced, "we have to find him."
I started to cry, "we have to find him!"
The dogs barked and I sat down. They walked to me and laid down. I cried into Diesel while Lily laid her head on my shoulder. I pet both of them. My babies. Ya, definitely my babies. I walked to the bathroom and lifted up my shirt. There was a cut and a bruise forming around it. I cleaned it out and wrapped a bandage around it. I limped upstairs holding my ribcage. It hurt so badly. I grabbed a piece of Aarons clothing and went back down the stairs. I went to Diesel and lily.
"Find him," I sighed, "take me to him."
They sniffed the shirt and barked to the door. I opened it and Diesel ran out. Lilly barked and he slowed down. I stayed with her.
"Diesel go," I shouted, "but don't go in. Wait for me and hide!"
He ran ahead. Lily walked me to a house. It was dark. Wooden and creepy. My heart started to race. There was no other house around so if something bad happened there was no help. I heard the shouting from Aaron. Tears filed my eyes. I walked to the door and opened slowly. I peeped in. He was tied to a chair. Tears stained his cheeks.
"Alright men, " the guy said, "let's go get the girl. "
I ran and hid"
"I swear if you hurt her! " Aaron shouted
He was hit in the face and cut. Now that I notice he had cuts everywhere. There was blood everywhere. The men walked out and got in their car. They drove away and I ran in. I knelt besides him. His eyes were shut and weren't opening. I untied his hands and feet.
"Aaron?" I asked, "Aaron please wake up. Answer me."
"Emma," he whispered, "is...th.that you?"
"Yeah," I cupped his cheeks, "now come on. We have to go before they get back."
I helped him up and walked him outside. I could hear the car. I panicked and took him behind the house. I kept walking with him. Now I couldn't see the house. It was pitch black outside. I set him down close to a pond.
"How?" He asked, "did y...you find..... me?"
"I'll tell you later," I smiled, "just focus on getting better."
I whistled and heard both dogs running at me.
"Listen guys," I whispered, "no barking. No barking. Paw if yes nothing if no. are they back?"
Lilly and Diesel both gave me their paw. I looked down and back at Aaron.
