She was back in my arms. Safe with me. This time he went way to far. I'll kill my own father. That is all there is to it. Tonight I will go. I can't tell her or she will freak out. She won't go to sleep. Won't let me leave the house. I woke up after she rolled over. We talked a bit and then I decided to go make her breakfast. I walked back up afterwards and she sat up slowly. I could tell they she was in pain. I have her the food and she ate slowly.
"Thank you," she smiled.
"Anything for you," I said.
She smiled again and I took the empty plate from her. She was extremely skinny, underweight by a lot. I sat next to her.
"Lay down for me," I said.
I helped her back and I slightly lifted her shirt. Her body stiffened. I looked at her and she relaxed.
"Sorry," she sighed.
I lifted it just enough to see the large cut on her stomach. I walked out of the room and to the bathroom. I walked back in with a needle and thread. Time to stitch her up. I gave her a heavy sleeping pill and a glass of water. She fell asleep. I knew she was scared, I could tell by the look on her face before she went to sleep. I wiped away all of the dried up blood and then stitched it back together. Afterwards I put a needle in her to fill her up. It was nice having someone that I knew was a nurse. My mom was. She taught me before she left, so I could protect myself. Anyways back to her...she was pale. Like a ghost. Her eyes were dark underneath. Her body was still a bit cold; but not like it was yesterday. After I finished I wrapped her waist in gauze. Better. I made sure that there was no more blood anywhere else. Then I covered her with a heater blanket and turned it on medium. That outta warm her up for good. Now was the time to go. I grabbed the gun out from under my bed. I put on a black coat, sweats, hat and face mask. I would go undetected. I walked out of the house and to my dad's. The door was unlocked. I walked in and he was on the couch. Asleep. I put the gun to his head.
"Dad you hurt me," I whisperered, "and then you nearly killed her. Emma, she's the sweetest person in the world! Dammit dad I can not believe you did that to her. I love her and for you to do that to her is unbelievable. Now you have got to pay. I'm so done with you causing pain!"
I put the finger on the trigger and pulled it. There was a loud bang and then a ringing in my ear. I looked at him. Blood everywhere. Tears fell down my face but I had to. I walked out of the house.
