His heart dropped. A brief period of silence followed as the sound of raindrops ringed in his ear. He stared at the woman to his right, his eyes wide open. His breathing became shaky as the name Guizhong was ingrained into his mind.

The warmth of a hand on his back brought him back to reality. As if on instinct, he hit her hand away.

"Is there something bothering you?"Her voice was gentle and concerned, she had no ill intention.

However, Childe felt as if he was corned by a beast. She was deceiving him, a sly fox, a good for nothing snake. Everyone worshipped her because she manipulated everyone. With these atrocious assumptions poisoning his mind. He replied,

Her face filled with terror and confusion, as the tip of the blade grazed her neck. Although this was her first encounter with Childe, Guizhong already knew how dangerous he was. The woman's mind became scattered as many thoughts intruded into her head, who was he referring to as "him", did she do something to provoke him. Her hands trembled as she attempted to recall any wrongdoing she had committed. But nothing came to mind.
