After a 2 hour train journey and watching people getting on and off of the train, we finally pulled up at the Manchester station. I grabbed my case and headed outside. Hopping into a taxi I told the driver my home address and the cab started to drive down the streets. I was missing JJ already. When I arrived home, I got the shock of my life. It wasn't good.

I paid the driver and got out of the taxi. Opening the front door, I shouted to my mum that I was back. I could hear giggling from the living room. I walked in to see my mum with John. I haven't informed you about John have I?. Well, John is one of my Mum's work collegues, they've been getting really close. I've seen them kiss. I want my mum to be happy and I want her to find love again, of course I do but there's something about John I don't like. He's very controlling.

"Hey mum, Hey John..." I said, cheerily.

"Hey baby, erm can you sit down a minute"

I went to sit down, I knew something was coming and I could sense that it wasn't good, well not for me anyway.

"Well, John's moved in...." my mum said.

"What??" I asked.

"You heard" Said John.

I wish he wouldn't speak to me like that, he can't treat me that way. In order to avoid any arguments I just smiled and said.

"That's brilliant, welcome to the family"

My mum smiled but inside I was so unhappy. I hated John and he hated me. John went to hug my mum, she had her back to me. I looked into John's eyes and he gave me an evil stare. Understanding the message that I wasn't wanted, I walked upstairs to my room in order to unpack. It was a lovely greeting wasn't it? I mean they didn't even ask how my it had gone or if the boys were nice.So caring.

I was lay on my bed, on my laptop talking to some friends when my mum walked into the room.

"I'm sorry baby, I forgot to ask, how was the trip"

"Well...erm...I'm...ermm...I'm with someone now"

"Really?? Who??"

"JJ..."

"JJ Hamblet...Jockey Jamie as in THE JJ Hamblett I know"

I nodded my head and laughed. A massive smile grew on her face, she was so happy.

"Well it's about time!"

We both fell into giggles of laughter.

"Sharon come Here" Shouted a voice from behind the door.

"Goodnight love, a coffee in starbucks is in order tomorrow" said my mum as she walked out of the room. I knew John had called her out, he hated not being with her.

The next morning, I woke up feeling a mixture of excitement and sickness. I knew today was the boys audition, the only problem was the time difference between here and Las Vegas. The boys were calling us at 6 O'Clock UK time tomorrow to tell us the result. I planned to talk to the boys on Skype tonight. My mum and I headed out to starbucks at twelve, but mum was determined ti get back for two. I knew that she didn't want to, but John was very controlling in that way. When at starbucks I was bombarded with questions.

"Is he fit?"

"What does he look like?"

"Did you kiss him?"

I answered each one and we laughed about the old times. I loved days like this with my mum but I knew that there wouldn't be as many now that John was on the scene.

"So have you told John about me and JJ?" I asked.

"erm...yes...erm" replied my mum.

"What's the problem?" I asked.
