The next few days were spent around both of the Disney Parks, on and off rides, taking photos with characters and buying gifts for our friends and families back home. Going home was going to be the hardest part. On our last night, we had booked a special Evening meal for the family in Cinderella's Restaurant. Otea wore her Cinderella dress along with her crown, JJ and I in our his and hers Mickey and Minnie Mouse tops that were matching. As we entered the Restaurant, we were greeted by a young man in a waistcoat, he was one of the footmen from the story. We told him about out reservation and he led us away to our table, pulling our chairs out and helping us in. JJ got a little jealous and insisted that he help me in not the man. When we were sat down and our meals had been ordered, I looked around in amazement. The restaurant was set out like Cinderella's house before she met her prince, all of the men dressed as footmen and the girls dressed as housemaids. There was a huge roaring fire in the corner and the music from the ball playing in the background. Magical wasn't the right word. The two mice from the story came round to each table, meeting and greeting each family, signing autograph books and having photos taken. Otea had a lovely photo with the mice as well as JJ and I, of course. Our meals arrived and we tucked in, I must admit, it was delicious. We were told we would have a 15 minute wait for our dessert but it didn't matter, it was an extra 15 minutes we got to spend in this magical wonderland. All of a sudden the trumpets sounded and we all looked around, wondering what was going to happen. There was one thing about Disney; anything could happen.
" Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, please welcome the Princesses and their Princes"
There was gasps of amazement and excitement from young children sitting with their parents. JJ and I looked at each other, mouths open in shock as we saw the princesses walk down the staircase with their princes, spreading out around each table, talking, signing autographs and taking photos. The final princess to walk down the stair case was Cinderella. Otea's jaw dropped and she turned around to look at her family, bouncing with excitement. As soon as she saw Otea, she came straight over. Otea stood up, running towards her and giving her a really big hug. Cinderella chuckled and spoke softly to Otea asking her if she was enjoying her day and telling her that she looked beautiful. The prince took Otea's hand and twirled her around as they both signed her autograph book. They took a photo with her and then took a photo with JJ and I and then with JJ's parents. Cinderella was like Otea's idol, she really aspired to be like her so meeting her today was one of the best things that could have happened. The Princesses came around one by one. They were all so lovely to Otea, calling her a little princess and making her feel so welcome and at ease. When Snow White and her Prince came around, I stood up straight away. Snow White had always been my favourite Princess so I rushd towards her, along with JJ and we had a photo taken. JJ's mum laughed as she took the photo, mumbling that JJ and I were two of the biggest kids she knew.
"Are you two a couple then?" Snow White asked.
"We are, and I love her more than anything" JJ said, putting his arms around me and kissing me on the cheek.
"Well isn't that just adorable" The Prince said.
"It is, you're very cute together, I hope you'll be very happy" Snow White added softly as she waved goodbye and went over to the next table.
We finished our business at the restaurant, went on a few last rides and stayed in the park until we were thrown out because it was closing time. We watched the final Disney Dreams performance on the castle and then made our way back to the hotel. As we were about to leave the gates, Otea had tears in her eyes and if there was one thing JJ hated, it was seeing Otea Cry.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Asked JJ, bending down to Otea, fixing her scarf.
"I don't want to go home JJ" She cried.
