The taxi pulled up outside, beeping it's horn.

"Meg! Hurry up!" Shouted JJ.

"I'm coming, I'm coming" I said, running down the stairs.

We ran towards the door and straight into the taxi. We were the last couple to be picked up so when we entered the taxi, we were greeted by the others. I went and took a place next to Ella, laughing at how unorganised the other boys were. We arrived at the airport very early, our flight was at 8am so in around 4 hours we'd be in Lanzarote. With it being the summer, the girls were dressed in shorts and tops along with the boys dressed in the same sort of thing. We got into the airport and stood in our queue waiting to be checked in. We were the most lively in the queue by far, we were singing so many songs to do with summer. Most people looked at us and laughed but the miserable people glared at us as if to say it's 6am in the morning, shut up. After checking in, we headed to the bar where we all sat around a massive table. Olly walked over with a tray covered in glasses, putting it down on the table. Each member of our group took a glass.

"Too an amazing holiday" Olly said, raising his glass into the middle.

We joined him, raising our glasses and toasting the best holiday ever. We all knocked back our drinks, hissing as we all felt like choking afterwards. The girls headed off around the shops while the boys joked and laughed. Ella, Lucy and I were dancing around the shops, trying on sunglasses and hats taking silly photos. This week was going to be a week full of parties and long nights spent on the beaches. I couldn't wait. After an hour we returned to the boys. I went and sat on JJ's knee.

"Get anything then meggy moo?" Asked George.

"Nope georgey porgey" I replied laughing.

That was when our flight was called. We all looked at each other, our eyes wide with excitement. I looked at JJ to my left and then George to my right. We grabbed our bags and ran straight to the check in, laughing when Josh got stuck on the escalator and fell over. The air hostess' laughed as we showed them our tickets and boarded the plane. The seats were in rows of three. On our row it was JJ, Josh and I. I was sat in the middle, JJ by the window and Josh on the end. Behind us was Olly, Jaymi and Lucy. Then in front of us George and Ella. The plane took off, Jaymi behind us freaking out because he hates planes. Ella was in front so the first thing she did was take her camera out of her bag, putting it in front of her for a big group photo. We all smiled for a nice photo and then did a stupid pose. Then the music on the plane started to play. JJ was sleeping next to me so I just partied with Josh to some Spanish song that was really easy to learn the lyrics too. Then I must have fallen asleep on JJ's shoulder with my arms around him.

"MEG! JJ! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WE'RE HERE" Screamed Olly, slapping us from behind.

I jumped up, startled, stretching my arms and yawning. As I looked out the window, I saw the clear blue sea and the glistening yellow sand. I put my chin on Josh's shoulder and JJ put his chin on mine. I turned around to look at him and smiled. The excitement was getting too much. When the plane touched down, Josh started the whole plane clapping the pilot. Our group started singing a song to the pilot and then got the whole plane to join in. Stepping off the plane and feeling the warm Spanish sun touch my face was bliss. I smiled and closed my eyes. One thing you should never do is close your eyes whilst walking down steps, it's a very bad idea. We collected our luggage and like eight little kids we ran out into the black cab that was there to collect us.

We drove through the lovely Spanish streets, winding the windows down and feeling the warm Spanish sun hitting our face while the sea breeze added a little coolness to the air. Then we pulled up at our accommodation for the week. I got out of the taxi, my mouth wide open. I looked up and down at the massive villa that was looking over me. I could see the balconies. Olly came and hugged me.
