Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forgetting: Part 17

I woke up to see the daylight hitting my face. I could feel eyes looking at me. I looked up to see JJ staring over me.

"What?" I asked.

"I've never seen anything as beautiful as you" He said.

I smiled at him and went to kiss him, it was only meant to be a peck but it turned into something more. I wrapped my arms around his neck and we stayed in a passionate kiss. That was until my wrist started to sting so we had to stop. We both fell back laughing as he kept tickling me. All of a sudden, the bedroom door slowly opened. We both turned our heads to see Otea at the door.

"Good Morning Princess" JJ greeted her.

"Good morning" She replied as she ran and jumped between JJ and I.

We both hugged her. I looked at JJ and mouthed to him that we should tickle her. After the count of three we both went in as the two tickle monsters, tickling her and making her giggle. I loved the sound of hearing her little laugh.

"JJ, are we still going to the park today" She asked.

"Yeah, and Meg's coming too!"

"Really?!?" She asked, looking at me.

"If you want me too"

"I really really really want you too!"

I laughed and wriggled out of the bed, JJ's shirt baggy, hanging on me like a really short dress. I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen making myself and JJ a cup of coffee. JJ arms wrapped around my waste and he began to kiss my neck.

"Put her down" Shouted JJ's Dad.

"Sorry, but she's too gorgeous"

We both started to giggle. Sitting down at the coffee table, JJ began to tell me about the plans he had for the shows. I enjoyed listening to them and acted like I was really looking forward to it but really I was scared. I was going to miss JJ so much, I hated saying goodbye. You'd think that i'd be used to it by now, but really I'm not.I walked up stairs and decided to go and get a shower. I wrapped the towel around me after getting a shower and walked into the bedroom where JJ was stood. He startled me but then we both started to laugh. I grabbed a dress from in the wardrobe and put it on, put my hair up into a bun and let JJ change my bandage for my wrist. I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and put my make up on, put a pair of pumps on and then I was ready to go. I ran down the stairs to see JJ and Otea waiting.

"It's about time" JJ said.

"Well I'm sorry but I don't want to go out looking like I'm half dead"

"You look beautiful, whatever you look like and whatever you wear"

I went to kiss him on the lips.

We headed out of the door. Otea skipped in front of me and JJ whilst we walked behind hand in hand. The brisk autumn sunshine was on my face, I couldn't help but smile. I know I'd had a tough week but spending time with JJ and his family had always seemed to make everything better.

When we arrived at the park, Otea saw some of her friends from school so we let her go and play in the playground with them. JJ was leaving in two days. We'd said Otea could miss the day off school in order to say goodbye. Whilst Otea played on the playground, JJ and I sat on the grass. We saw a bridal car drive past us.

"I can't wait to change your last name"

I looked at JJ surprised.

"What?"

"I mean, I can't wait till we get married, and have a family of our own, you're so great with Otea, she loves you"

"I love her, I treat her like she's my own"
