"Alright now that the two are upstairs want to make a bet?" The brunette asked the blonde boy who nodded his head instantly.
Simon spoke with a smirk on his face, "Yes absolutely, my money is on Deena making a move within two weeks."
"Okay and mine's on Deena making a move aft-"
"Whatcha betting on?" Josh questioned returning from the kitchen with snacks in his arms. Simon stood up to grab a couple of snacks from Josh while Kate finished her sentence.
"My money is on Deena making a move after three weeks and we're betting on when Deena will make a move. It's bound to happen soon so why not make some money." Kate wiggled her eyebrows suggestively at the two boys.
Josh laughed, "Mind if I get in on the action?"
"Nope not at all." The blonde boy replied with his mouth full of food.
Kate rolled her eyes and slapped the back of his head, "That's gross."
"Alright then my money's on Sam making the first move within a week." Simon and Kate looked at him before turning to look at each other.
"Please, Sam's too shy to make the first move." Kate replied, the blonde boy nodding his head in agreement.
Josh just shrugged in response, a small smile resting on his face. He was more than confident that the blonde girl in the other room would make the first move. No offense to his sister but Deena wouldn't even be able to make a move to save her life. Sam on the other hand, she was perfect. Plus she's all over Deena, so betting on Sam was the obvious choice.
"No interfering with them." Josh scolded Kate and Simon when he returned from his thoughts. "Fair game only."
Both Kate and Simon frowned at that information. Kate groaned, running a hand through her hair, "Fine. Fair game only, no interference." Now that it interfering wasn't allowed, it was going to be a lot harder for Kate to win. The brunette had so many tricks up her sleeve that she was excited to use but now they were completely useless.
It left them in a slightly awkward silence after the conversation, no one knew what to say. As Kate when to break it they heard a scream. Josh's eyes widened, he stood up abruptly dropping all the food on the ground and ran to his sister's room. Simon and Kate following behind him. He opened the door out of breath, "What's wrong?" He asked urgently while his eyes scanned the room.
"There's a spider!" Sam shrieked jumping onto Deena and using her as a shield.
"Sam, jeez you're going to make me fall!" Deena yelled to the girl on her back who was holding on for dear life.
"Are you kidding me! I thought one of you were in trouble!" Josh spoke in annoyance. His voice lowered near the end when he finished.
Sam stared at the boy, "We are! There's a fucking spider!"
Deena chuckled, "Correction I'm in danger. Sam's going to kill me." The tanned brunette inhaled sharply when the blonde girl slapped her. "See! She's abusive, I'm telling you."
Sam rolled her eyes and held onto Deena tighter, "Oh please, you're being overdramatic."
"And you're not?" Deena taunted the other girl with a smile on her face.
