It was quiet other than a few hums and the brunette talking about what room was what. There wasn't much to the tour but Sam took it all in. Her eyes were wide and curious. Every once in a while she would tug on her lip, a question on the tip of her tongue but it never left.
Deena took notice to the girl, prepared to answer any questions the girl might have. The last stop on the tour was her room, "Finally the last one is my room. Not much to it."
The blonde nodded and finally asked her question, "What about the basement?" She must have noticed the slight surprise in Deena's eyes and quickly added on. "I'm not a stalker I swear, I just have good eyesight."
Deena nodded, unsure about the girl behind her, "My brother lives down there. Figured you wouldn't want to see him." She shrugged but walked away to lead the girl to the basement.
Sam wondered if he was nice but kept quiet, following the girl. The walk down the stairs was interesting to say the least. The first step the blonde took she stumbled and fell forward, barely able to catch herself with each step.
If the brunette in front of her hadn't stopped at the end Sam would have fell face first into the cement. Thankfully though she fell into the brunette. When the blonde caught her balance she rubbed her nose and apologized.
"It's fine. Anyways Sam this is my brother Josh. As you can see he's currently busy on some stupid fucking expensive website of his." Deena grumbled walking up to the boy and taking off her headphones that he was wearing. "We have company." She informed he nodded.
"I'm Josh." The boy turned around and extended his hand to the girl.
She shook his hand nodding, "I know, Deena told me. I'm Sam by the way. In case you didn't know."
The boy turned to his sister and mouthed something Sam couldn't catch. The tanned girl shook her head and grabbed the blonde's arm pulling her up the stairs hastily.
"Have fun with your girlfriend!" Josh shouted after his sister.
"She's not my girlfriend you dick!" The brunette replied but all she received was a loud laugh. She opened her door not noticing the crack until it was too late. Ice cold water poured on her, she shrieked and took a step forward. The string pulled and paint sprayed out of the gun beside her. Last but not least loud music blasted through the room.
Deena covered her ears and stumbled around looking for the radio. When she found it she turned it off, a murderous glare on her face. "Josh I swear to fucking God I will end you!" Her voice echoed throughout the house, her brother shivered in fear. His eyes wide open, instantly regretting what he did.
"Are you okay?" Sam questioned with concern as she got close to the girl. The blonde removed her shirt and used it to rub the brunette's face clean of the paint and water.
One the brunette was fully able to see she nodded her eyes widening slightly at the shirtless girl before going back to normal, "Yeah I'm fine now."
Sam nodded and slipped her stained shirt back on, "You might want to get changed, white stains easily and well you're covered in paint and water."
Deena nodded in agreement, "I'll be right back." She grabbed some clothes leaving the room to change. The brunette returned a couple of minutes later in a pair of black shorts and a black t-shirt. Her hair was soaking wet and droplets of water fell down her face.
Deena gave Sam a small smile and sat down on her bed patting the spot beside her. Sam smiled back, sitting down beside the brunette. "So..." The blonde drawled out.
"So..." The brunette responded. An idea flashed through her mind but left as quick as it came. "I don't have much to do but we can watch a movie or something."
"We can do whatever you want." The blonde replied.
"You're no help, you know that." The brunette stated as she stood up, walking over to her selection of movies she grabbed the first one she saw and popped it into the tv.
"I've been told that a couple of times." The blonde chuckled stretching her arms. A couple of her bones cracked and she winced in pain. The tanned brunette noticed it but didn't bother to ask.
She walked back to her bed and laid down, saving space for the blonde to lay beside her. A couple minutes into the movie had Sam cuddled into her side, hiding her face from the tv screen. "Scared of a little horror are we?" Deena teased.
The blonde nodded and snuggled even closer to the brunette, her face digging into her neck. Her eyes were closed shut and her grip on the girl's shirt was tight. "Absolutely terrified of horror movies."
"Noted." The brunette tucked that thought deep into her head. This was never going to happen again so if she forgot it, it wouldn't matter.
"So this will happen again?" The blonde removed her face from the brunette's neck to look at her.
"Maybe, maybe not. Guess we won't know." Deena shrugged the best she could with blonde still clung to her body. Sam sighed and snuggled back into her neck mumbling something. "What was that?"
Sam smiled against her neck but said nothing. Her eyes fell close, being exhausted from the walk and everything else that has happened today. With the fun falling it didn't take long for her and Deena to pass out.
