"Deena get out of bed you lazy hobo!" The brunette mumble something along the lines of what time was it or no. Josh couldn't really tell which one it was. The girl was a mess, her hair spread out early and drool was falling out of her mouth. Her eyes were covered eye boogers indicating she must've cried sometime in her sleep and her nose was a bright red.

The girl shuffled in her sleep and pulled the blanket higher up over her body. "Deena I'm not joking, get the hell out of bed." But the girl just ignored him. Josh sighed and ripped the blanket off of the girl who groaned in response.

"Josh get out of my room. Can't you see I'm try to enjoy my sleep." Deena responded, curling up into a ball and putting the pillow over her body as she fell back asleep.

Josh rolled his eyes before speaking up again, "You have an appointment in less than an hour, get out of bed before you miss it."

"My appointment isn't until 6 you shithead."

"It's 5:30." Josh screeched, annoyance clearly detected in his voice. The brunette cracked her eyes open and looked at the alarm clock.

"My god, are you stupid! It's 5 in the morning and my appointment isn't until 6 in the afternoon!"

"No are you stupid, it's set for 6 in the morning. So get the hell out of bed right now or so help me god!" The boy threatened, he was on his last straw with his sister.

"I set it for 6 in the afternoon!" Deena complained trying to go back to sleep.

"No you didn't!"

"Yes I did!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No you didn't!" Josh cleared his throat before reading the text confirming the appointment, "Deena Johnson's next appointment is scheduled for 6:00 on Saturday morning of the 5th. For further information please contact Doctor Smith, thank you for you time."

Deena mumbled swears under her breath before speaking up with her eyes closed, "Fucking hell, what idiot set my appointment for 6 am on a freaking Saturday."

Josh snorted finding this situation a bit funny, "You did."

"I didn't." Deena argued but decided to get up nonetheless. Stumbling out of bed, she grabbed some clothes and headed to the shower to freshen up. When she got out of the shower she cleared the foggy mirror and rubbed her eyes. The eye bags under her eyes were very noticeable even with her tanned skin. "I look like a literal piece of shit." The brunette told herself before shrugging her shoulders and brushing her teeth.

Once she was done she made her way down the stair with her brother following right behind her. "I'm coming with you." He spoke up and the girl just nodded her head.

The drive to the doctors was a short and quiet one. Neither of them bothered to talk, it was way too early for the both of them. Once Deena parked the car the both got out and she locked it before heading inside. The receptionist greeted the instantly and told them to take a seat.

"The doctor will be with you momentarily." The brunette rolled her eyes and cursed whoever set her appointment so early in the morning.

"Do you think it will be any different from last time?" Josh asked curiously with a bit of concern. Deena nodded her head with a comforting smile on her face.

"I hope so, I've been doing better than in the past. I don't see why it wouldn't get better." In truth she was doing better than a couple weeks ago. She felt alive, like everything was going right in the world and things were finally settling down.

Josh hummed, "That's good, great actually." Though the worry he felt never went away. It was like something was nagging at his head telling him everything was about to crash and burn.

After waiting in the waiting room for a bit over than half an hour the doctor finally came out and called for the brunette. She stood up with some resistance in her legs but gave her brother a thumbs up and followed the man into another room. After waiting for an hour Josh's leg started bouncing, the appointments never lasted this long except for the first one. His nerves were high and he felt anxious.

Another hour passed and he started to chew on his fingernails. 'What the hell is taking so long?' He asked himself, his mind wouldn't settle. A couple more minutes passed and his sister finally walked out. She smiled at him, whether it was fake or not he couldn't tell.

The brunette carried a small bag in her hand, walking towards her brother. "It's great, only a couple of more weeks and the doctor believes I can move off of the pills. He wants me to do it slowly of course to prevent any mood swings. He also said to set a reminder to take them because of the amount of times I forgot to take them and had severe mood swings."

"Thank the fucking lords. Never again will you ever stop taking those pills for longer than a month, until being cleared." Josh scolded his sister but pulled her into a hug.

"You know it was an accident. I ran out and couldn't get them." Deena mumbled feeling slightly guilty for the stress she caused her brother.

"At least you're getting help and getting better. Soon this bipolar shit will all be in the past."

"Yeah soon." Deena whispered back but it seemed as though she was keeping something to herself. Josh didn't question it, if she had something important to mention should have said it.

Josh laughed quietly to himself and it sparked the brunette's attention.

"What, what is it?"

Josh's quiet laugh turned into a full blown belly laugh as he bent over clutching his stomach. "I just can't believe your stupid ass scheduled an appointment at 6:00 am in the morning instead of at 6:00 in the afternoon." He wiped a couple of tears from his eyes before standing back up and inhaling a couple of times as he calmed down.

"I'm telling you, it wasn't me." Deena whined. "How was I suppose to know it was in the morning and not the afternoon." She proceeded to complain to her brother which caused him to burst out laughing again.

She rolled her eyes and left the laughing fool inside while she went to her car and started it. Josh ran out the doors shortly after the car was started in fear his sister would leave him. It had happened many times before.
