By the Waterfall

Talia sits on the couch and eats popcorn 16:06 

Caitlyn has lost like ten pounds while she was off in the woods and finally sees one of the mansions up ahead. She's not sure if she should go to the tree house or the mansion, but the mansion by the waterfall is closer, so she goes to that one instead. 16:07 

Chris joined the chat 16:07 

Chris leaves the library when he smells popcorn and sits down by Talia on the couch. "Can I have some?" 16:08 

Talia puts her hand protectively over the popcorn and grins, "Hmm... I dunno..." 16:09 

Caitlyn keeps her hand over her stomach, still paranoid that her guts will come out through the tiny gash she has there. 16:09 

Chris: I'll give you some oreos later if you do... 16:09 

Talia holds the popcorn out to him, "Here!" 16:10 

Chris: Thanks. 16:10 

Chris gets a big handful and stuffs his face. 16:10 

Talia rolls her eyes, "Welcome." 16:10 

Caitlyn reaches the door and knocks. 16:10 

Talia glances at the door 16:11 

Talia gets up and opens it, "Cait?" 16:11 

Caitlyn blinks. "Hi. Did I meet you while I was here....? Sorry if I don't remember...." 16:12 

Chris stops munching and looks up. 16:12 

Talia looks over her shoulder, "Kinda, not really. Where's Gracie?" 16:12 

Caitlyn: Um, I don't exactly know.... 16:12 

Talia: What?? 16:13 

Chris stands up and glares at her. "What do you mean you don't know?" 16:13 

Caitlyn: Um, well, I think she might be in D7 by now. I dunno. She said she wanted to go there and visit... And then we got separated because of the earthquake, but ... 16:14 

Talia blinks, "She went to D7?" 16:14 

Caitlyn nods. "Yeah." 16:16 

Chris grimaces. "Why would she do that?" 16:16 

Talia rubs her face 16:16 

Caitlyn shrugs a shoulder. "She mentioned something about seeing her parents..." 16:17 

Chris: She wouldn't go and see her parents! They hate her and she hates them! 16:17 

Caitlyn flinches at the volume of Chris's voice. "I'm just telling you what I know..." 16:18 

Talia: What the hell will she do if she sees them?? 16:18 

Caitlyn: I don't know! She told me about the way they treated her. Maybe she's gone to get revenge. I don't know... 16:21 

Chris coils his hands into fists. 16:21 

Talia 's eyes widen, "You don't think she would kill them, do you?" 16:21 

Chris: Gracie wouldn't do that. She flipped out that time she decapitated a peacekeeper. She wouldn't go as far as killing her parents, even if they do fucking deserve it. 16:24 

Caitlyn shrugs a shoulder. "I don't know. She really seemed like she would in the woods. I mean, she seemed strong and ... I don't know, brave. I liked hanging out with her." 16:25 

Talia: And if she wasn't going to... then why would she go there? 16:26 

Chris: There's nothing left for her there. Brendan and his brother are here. His parents are dead. She has no reason to go back. I don't fucking understand this. Caitlyn, how do we know you're not lying to us? 16:27
