Pancakes with Chocolate Syrup

Andrea wakes up in her bed and looks around, realizing it's already the afternoon 15:05 

Gracie joined the chat 15:06 

Gracie has been baking a lot again. 15:08 

Derrick joined the chat 15:08 

Derrick has been awake and next to Andrea. 15:08 

Gracie drops a pan and yells angrily. 15:10 

Andrea flinches when she hears Gracie 15:10 

Andrea rubs her eyes "Is she cooking again?" 15:11 

Derrick rubs his eyes and shrugs a shoulder. "Either that or she's fighting someone with a pan." 15:12 

Jo yells and wakes up 15:12 

Jo rubs her face 15:13 

Andrea laughs and pulls the covers over her head 15:13 

Derrick rolls over on his side. 15:14 

Jo starts working again 15:14 

Andrea stays under the blankets "You did go to sleep right?" 15:15 

Gracie picks up the pan and tosses it into the sink, making a loud clanking noise. Then she checks on the apple turnovers. 15:15 

Jo rubs her sleeve across her face and packs up her stuff 15:16 

Derrick: I think I did. I mean, I remember closing my eyes for a second and suddenly I'm awake, so I must have. 15:16 

Gracie sits down and puts a hand over her stomach because she's hungry, but all this food is for Christmas, so she can't have any. She pauses to wonder if the food won't taste as good because some of it will be a little old, but it won't be older than about a week or two and the bread takes awhile to actually go bad.... 15:18 

Jo shoulders her pack and shoves her hands in her pockets. She starts walking 15:19 

Andrea peeks at Derrick from under the blanket "Good. You better have slept or I'll be mad at you" 15:20 

Derrick laughs. "In that case, I definitely did. By the way, you were very funny last night." 15:22 

Andrea: Why what'd I do? 15:22 

Jo hums as she walks 15:23 

Derrick: Oh, you know, fell off a couch. Ate glue because you thought it was sugar.... 15:23 

Andrea looks at Derrick "No I didn't!" 15:24 

Gracie rubs some flour off her face, accidentally adding more too it and sighs, deciding she needs a break to eat something. 15:24 

Derrick laughs. "Okay, you didn't, but you did say some really sweet things." 15:24 

Jo climbs an apple tree and grabs a few 15:26 

Andrea rubs her eyes again "Like what?" 15:26 

Jo hops out of the tree and keeps walking 15:27 

Derrick: Well, that what you wanted for Christmas was for me to have a heart. 15:31 

Jo eats one of the apples as she walks 15:32 

Gracie looks around for something to eat other than all the pastries, cakes, and cookies. 15:33 

Jo spots the treehouse up ahead 15:34 

Andrea blushes "Do you think it'll work?" 15:34 

Derrick: Yeah, I think so. You also said you wanted everyone to be happy and that maybe my heart would just grow like the Grinch. 15:35
